Considering a getting a similar aristides myself (H/08 with trem). Is the trem more like a floyd or a strat trem? Is the trem easy to setup and how well does it handle aggressive techniques like repeat divebombing? Thx and love the video!

It's a lot more like a Floyd Rose system than a Strat system! And I remember it as dealing with repeated divebombing quite well, actually :-)

How are string/tuning changes with this compared to floyd rose guitar?

I hadn't changed strings on this badboy, but I can tell you in regards to tuning changes it barely moved after heavy use with the bar. I was super impressed, because I most definitely had my doubts!

Can you put EMGs in it and compare their tones? Classic "block-of-cheese" EMG 85 and "the classic, the one, the only" EMG 81?

That won't work, because these pickups are angled and EMGs don't come with an "angled" option. At least they never did. If EMG did something recently, where you actually can buy angled pickups, I stand corrected. But I doubt it.

Not possible as the Lundgrens/BKP pickups used in these guitars are custom slanted for the Aristides multiscale design. So at the time of writing this, only Bare Knuckle and Lundgren are available in Aristides fanned fret models. The only exception to this is blade magnet Fishman Fluence pickups

@@ThorsShadow Aristides is able to offer active routing for the S series stuff now but I haven't seen anyone try the big EMG pickups in a build, at least not yet!
