Does anyone know where I could find more bands with this funky jazz metal infusion type sound? I've tried searching around briefly, but nothing with funky time sigs like this album has and also not as chill sounding, which is REALLY what makes it sound so jazzy funky awesome. Wish they made another album together! I've listened to Abasi and Reyes's other work like Animals as Leaders and Mestis, but it obviously isn't nearly the same vibe as this album. And to people saying this isn't Abasi at his finest, sometimes music doesn't have to be ridiculously technical and insane, like his tunes usually are, in order to be awesome music. I think this entire album has a sort of flow to it that most of his work has never really even touched before. I feel like musicians should strive to experiment with different vibes like he and the other band members have done here.

People have been bashing bands for years and years it's not new and it certainly isn't going away. I've had people bash some of my bands I loved over the years and I don't get butthurt over it. No matter how good the music is there will always be haters. It just comes with the territory.
