I also went to Dreamsonic but diff state, it was a total blast! I am a big fan of AAL more than DT and Devin. As a drummer it was a delight to watch Matt playing like 20-30ft away from me and he doing all his crazy things and I can see every movement, this dude is a total beast, along with Tosin and Javier. To be completely fair, I was not a great fan of the mix they were using, the mix was too high so like the cymbals especially like splashes and china were sounding scratchy and kind of funky, not sure if it was like that for every venue they played or just for the venue I was in, for any particular reason. In my opinion Devin stole the show, I have never heard anything about him before, and in the first song my jaw dropped. He is a performer and a hell of a singer. DT you know, nothing to speak about it, just pure magic, just kind of sad for James voice, but I have nothing but respect for him.

In my band we tend to make separate riffs, then try to merge them to make a song, and they usually sound terrible together and we have to re-do lots of things. These guys seem to put some non-related riffs together and it sounds so epic. Life is unfair.
