I don't know why people are moaning about the mix, that snare is EXACTLY where it should be. This is a gorgeous mix, and a fantastic AaL song.

Yes; the snare is like the St. Anger snare, but I thought it combines well with the kalimba's sound. It has a very tribal sound to it overall. Then again, who knows; maybe they did it as an inside joke. But I would think they preferred its artistic quality and cohesion with the kalimba as well as the tribal-esque theme and rhythms. Also, if you listen to the tone of Tosin's guitar when he plays some of the clean chordal parts (04:07), they have a similar type of open, hollow, 'reverby' texture that complements well with the tones of the kalimba and the snare. So, there are multiple elements in the song that brings it all together, in my musical perspective. The beginning of the track makes me think of staring outside into nature while hearing wind-chimes in the early morning before sunrise.

The intro to me sounds like some kind of droplets and they have that electrical touch. Then the whole song is just unpredictable and everything goes together so well. I can't predict the rythm or understand it but it amazes me. It's like when i was very little and i found things that i couldn't understand all around but they fascinated me. Also I love that ending glitchy part
