TIMESTAMPS FOR SPIDERS/ARACHNIDS 1:21 -> 1:31 Several, animated (intro) 4:52 -> 5:02 Two, real (two male jumping spiders fighting/intimidating each other) As a spider scientist (and the science consultant for CCZoo), I love these wonderful animals, but I realize that being startled by a spider can be scary (even if you like them!). An important part of overcoming arachnophobia is building positive interactions with arachnids on /your/ terms, so hopefully this helps some of y'all do so and enjoy the videos.

Thank you so much! Spiders make me incredibly anxious (real a lot more than animated) so it's fantastic that you've done these time stamps so I know when to look away and can watch without worrying about a spider jumping out at any second.

Question: How is a colonial organism different from an organism that has various organs? Like in humans liver cells and brain cells are fundamentally different, even though they share the same DNA, however, they are not considered a colonial organism, unless I got that wrong.

This was great! I’m surprised you didn’t mention naked mole rats though. They buck the idea that only small or “simple” organisms can be eusocial.

Siphonophores are one of the wildest colonies. I still have a hard time grasping how many differentiated animals end up combining in such a patterned way to create a larger organism.

But in the case of the bats behavior they feed the young as a group all moms feed all young. It not naval it's with in typical behavior. Also note there safety in numbers and higher the average quality immune response the likely hood for recovery makes the bats care taking treats stitsicly beneficial because of the sick bat recovery rate and the blood transfer increases exposure to fungal and bacterial that might increase recovery through immune sharing I would loosely suggest that all multi cellular organism development as colonial until they are able to reproduce the group as a whole. a fungi genetic symbiosis is more likely to behind the growth of nervous system as a symbiotic process with a host cell and virus might have bin the Original jizz and the DNA cell the egg I mean 🤦♂️ theres more technical details here. but I'm just describing a system of not the steps
