Something for owners to keep in mind: In 1997, the AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association) came out with the strong recommendation to never use the scruff area for vaccines. No vaccine (adjuvanted or non-adjuvanted) is to be given in the scruff area under any circumstance. They are to be given as low on a limb as possible. This is to allow for limb amputation if a VAS (vaccine-associated sarcoma), although rare, occurs. Here's to happy, healthy cats!

Yes! They need to go to the vet to get proper care for skin problems they may have,fungi,sicknesses,and much more that can be common or rare in cats.

If you get a cat or kitten from outside, automatically assume a flea bath and deworming are necessary, along with the vet visit. For kittens or cats, you can use Dawn dishwashing soap, a small amount, as any flea shampoos are not recommended for kittens under a certain age and weight. Check KZbin videos on how to bathe kittens and cats, and good luck!

I would like to add that one thing which is a sign to get to a vet or animal hospital ASAP is if their breathing changes. Especially if they are “panting” but haven’t been running around like a crazy case of the zoomies. This could be a number of things from rat bait poison, lung issues or heart issues. Please look after your pretty kitty.

my vet is suck.he just give vaccine to my cat and he leaves in his clinic.so the only thing that i can do is to just ask and consult his asisstant(not a vet).

i would definitely recommend deworm, the normal vaccines, rabies, parvo vaccine & also the SPOTS vaccine..
