Skittles. I understand your pain. I have anxiety, which I know is completely different from what you have, but I still feel this way. My anxiety causes me to act strangely sometimes, and not one single person can understand, because they don't think the way I do. Because I've messed myself up to cope with the anxiety. Sometimes... You just feel so alone and different then everyone else, though I'm the only one who knows it. It's hard, but we have to keep moving forward.

@PhoenixOfFireflies Thanks Phoenix! It's okay, it's nothing like it used to be. I've learned how to control it better throughout the past few months. Whenever she starts dragging me down, i fight back and try to put myself in a better mood. It's difficult sometimes, it truly is but it's worth the struggle :) I'm sure that it will be helpful for me when i start to find my place in the world. She has good judgement and knows what to do when i'm torn.

Every time I find a vent video, I try to comment and relate. With this, I'm pretty sure I can. @888wolfstar The disorder my friend has is called DID, or Dissociative Identity Disorder. It is really common for those who have been sexually abused before the age of 5, and it's the brains way of protecting itself. It splits to as to lessen the burden of the memories. My friend who has it is very happy and wouldn't get rid of her alters for anything, hopefully you and your alter get along just as well :)

My goodness, so do i. I totally agree with you. Having these disorders can be my major downfall and hold back but they also make me who i am today. As for a second comment I forgot to mention in my first is that I have to say. I was diagnosed with PTSD two months ago and I have been working on it. and what makes me relate most to this song is, it's how I feel...feel like people don't understand and I fear judgement, I guess yeah this song is very relatable.

I feel like this many times and I thinks it's a really good song and a great video :) SKITTLES!! I thinks it's pretty neat to hear/read you have a split personality and to that other you who's hiding in the shadows don't be afraid to express who YOU are it might be hard and painful sometimes but isn't it worse to be alone? This is my personal opinion from a personal experience. I used to be really shy and awkward I still am and because of that I was always alone I would always hide my true feelings to protect myself but now I realize that I was running away. I still hide my feelings most of the time and I believe it's because I got used to doing it and its now and unconscious action. I am trying to be more open and I realized that a great way to start is by writing HOW you're feeling :) I wish you the best :)

I don't have split personalities, but I do have a friend with DID, and have met several others. I'd have to say you are the first person I met with only one other persona though. My friend has 5-6 different alters, ranging from a little kid, to teenagers, to older than her. Great job, and also, skittles. 3

Thank you, I greatly appreciate the comment. My split personality is really due to my PTSD. It's quite common for people who go through trauma at a young age to never really move on in a sense which is exactly what happened to me. It's nothing drastic like many cases you hear, it's more on an emotional level. There's a name for it but at the moment it has slipped my mind, but having made this before being diagnosed with my PTSD (this video being 1yr+ old) my inference wasn't entirely correct.

Thank you :) To be honest, I didn't really try too hard with this video since it was more of a vent. I did that because usually in my other video's, I use lots of color and brightness. So by making this, I kinda used the opposite....the extremes of black and white to express nothingness since that's how I felt on the inside while making this.

I sometimes know how you feel...sometimes I feel that I'm abnormal, that I don't belong. I sometimes feel so alone, especially when me and my best friend had a big fallout, and no-one was on my side, so I just read a book every break time, since I didn't have anyone to play with. I'm alright now, though. Still healing. Skittles.

Today, when my shame made me cry, my mom accused me of being off my psych meds and said, "You get whack when you're like this!"
