Just a tip: If you use the sky for your background and suddenly your entire scene becomes blown out, it's not because your blender is broken! Real lighting is much more intense than blender's default lights, so to counteract this, decrease the exposure of your camera in the render properties tab.

Yo dude. As one was saying in the comments. I was planning to work in blender whilst this video is running on a 2nd monitor. once you get particle systems made and in an okay state, turn them off in viewport. No need to have them on for anything but the render. Your mountains probably just need displacement noise texture or material tweaking

I've just started using blender like a week ago so it could just be me being a dummy not importing the materials correctly but my master_material look complete dogshit in comparison to in the video, it follows the general color scheme and i can change the snow height and all that without any issues but it's almost as if the textures doesn't load in which is weird since if i check the preview or any of the textures individually they're all there. Any help with how to fix my material problem would be greatly appreciated! Also i'm using blender 3.0 if that has changed something which breaks it maybe
