Animate a Bird Flying Adobe Animate CC Tutorial

At the end of the video I run into a snag where the bird's wing continues flapping. The fix is to select the bird graphic when it has landed, go to your properties bar, and set the looping options to play once.

Nice Animation. If you push the white turn point to the bottom of the wing, you dont have to move it. You can drag the frames with alt-key to copy them.

I am a new student to Animation, let alone Animate CC, so this is probably really amateur, but if you add a keyframe to 66 and then break apart the symbol of the falcon (ctrl+b) on that keyframe, then you can stop the falcon animation I think and continue with other animation. This should work with any symbol. Hope this is helpful and sorry if I have explained it poorly. Otherwise this video was really useful to me.

Hi! I made a bird as a graphic symbol. I have made an animation while the wing goes up and down. But, when I want to move the bird to the other place with the background and I click "create classic tween", it says "The selected frame (span) cannot be tweened." What do I need to do? To move the bird to the other screen?

When you deleted the graphic at the end, how come that didn't delete the wing as well? Since the wing was in that layer?

Hi, I need your help. I have the program and it works very well, but I have a problem. When I import audio can´t heard it, I drag it to the timeline, I put it in "stream", "event", "start", "" stop "; I give it to play in the same library, but still I can not listen The sound.I can only hear it when I publish it (Ctrl + Intro) and of course this is a mistake because I can not listen to the audio and edit in case I am doing a lip sync. I have already used several flash versions before and I do not know why this happens, please if anyone has an idea, I am desperate. :c Pd: I use the action Script 3.0

Not how bird wings work at all, but It's good enough, lol. But it's Adobe animate, it's very confusing to get it right in deep detail. Good enough for beginners like my self. For those who don't get it, birds don't just flap up and down like they're autistic, and their wings are stiff planks of wood. On the Down stroke, the flight feathers bend upwards slightly, the wing moves forward a bit, and the wing itself tilts forward at an angle where the back end of the wing seems to have tilted upwards slightly. This pushes the air to the back, propelling the bird forward. On the up stroke, it's a little odd. The bird minimizes the profile of its wings by actually folding them on the up stroke, keeping them closer to its body, as this decreases drag at higher speeds and the down stroke is generally a more powerful stroke. Upon the mid-stroke, the bird starts to tilt the front of its wings upwards and the feathers start to spread apart as the bird spreads its wings preparing for the peak and another down stroke to scoop as much air as possible. This, again, creates a scenario where the air is pushed to the back, again, propelling the bird forward. Had it been simply up and down, this bird will never fly, and never leave its current position. But animating this is a nightmare, so this is simple enough. I don't want to sound rude, I'm just incredibly frustrated that there is no tutorial on how to make this process simpler to animate. This is not one of those tutorial. This is purely a video for a fast, to the point animation tutorial of the most basic of process of what happens when a bird flaps its wings, not an accurate representation. I'm not referring to the channel author, but to think birds just flap up and down is painfully cringe.

hi could someone please kindly take their time to read this and see if they could help me? I would be very thankful. I know I probably sound stupid, but is there a way of turning movie clips on and off in the main time line? Like if I wanted it to loop for the first half of the animation but then turn off for the second half how would I do that??? An example of this is if I had a walk animation for the legs inside of a movie clip. What if the character has now reached his destination? How do I end the cycle? Or are movie clips only for short animations that just keep repeating themselves?? plez help ._.

I don't know much about animate, but I usually end the loop by creating a new keyframe, and drawing my stick figure on that.

If ur still having trouble on that,you can just leave the frames on the timeline,i mean u dont need to convert it to a symbol,just copy and paste the frames,and when u want to stop em,just stop pasting it!easy right?(a little bit of ease at the end would help) :)
