@Daniel_Batal3 ай бұрын
Okay, you asked for it! There is no such thing as “universal settings” for good audio. It begins with finding a mic that brings out the tonality of your voice. Everyone’s voice is different so what works for your may not work for me. Currently I’m using an Aston Spirit mic. Then you’ll want to find a good mic preamp that captures that sound well. I use the ART Voice Channel into a Roland VR-HD1 to bring it into my system. As you know, Resolve supports VST plugins which is what makes its DAW so strong. Once inside of Resolve, I use three VST plugins to dial my voice in. A Universal Audio API Vision Channel Strip for the EQ. Then into a Density MKIII compressor to lightly round out the placement and finally into Ozone 11 for a bit of AI audio mastering.

The problem is that you’re combining them to a single mono audio track. You either need to implement the ability to record in stereo and assign one a hard left and the other a hard right pan so you can separate them in post or record to a 2 track device.

Actually this you can’t save as a preset because it’s not an actual transition, it’s a fusion clip. But, I suppose you could save it as a fusion clip, unfortunately then you’d lose the keyframing when you swapped to differnt footage

Plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Could you tell me how to resolve error of ( MEDIA OFFLINE ) . I HAVE ALREADY SEEN SOME VIDIO HOW TO SOLVE THAT BUT IT DIDN'T WORK, LOVE FROM INDIA❤❤
@Daniel_Batal3 ай бұрын
‘Media Offline’ is a result of the software not being able to identify or locate assets you’ve used or are trying to use in a project. It’s not always the same solution but if you understand the principle, you can solve the issue. Did you change the name of the original file the software is trying to access? Did you change the location of where that asset was from the previous time it was accessed by the software? Did you have the asset on an external drive and plug that drive into a different port giving it a driving drive assignment? If you know where the asset you want to use is and it has the exact same name as it does in your project, then drag and drop it back into your media pool and the software should reset the new access location.
@sagarlode1953 ай бұрын
Yes, ones I have changed the location of the assest but then I deleted all the assets and created a new one but the problem remains same , LOVE FROM INDIA,❤️❤️ I LOVE THE WAY YOU TALK SIR,
@sagarlode1953 ай бұрын
Today new update is here da Vinci resolve 19 , I have downloaded new version, let's see the problem remains the same or its solved,
@Daniel_Batal3 ай бұрын
Creating new ones means those assets will have different metadata. What you’ll need to do is open your project and in the Edit Page, go up to the media pool in the upper left, and choose an asset that is red with the ‘Media Offline’ issue… right click on it and select ‘Replace Selected Clip’. Then choose the new version you’ve created and it will use that one instead. If you have more than one asset in your media pool with this issue, you’ll need to do the same for each.

There are some transition presets you can use but you’d have extremely limited control and you wouldn’t learn more about the software functionality for editing more intensive projects. My goal isn’t to focus on learning the fastest or easiest way to do everything. It’s to help creators become better editors. @@Daniel_Batal I get you. If you learn the fundamentals before taking the shortcuts you’ll be better prepared for more complex work. I appreciate your tutorials and education brother. I came from adobe about 1.5 years ago and I never looked back. The learning curve for resolve was immense but now I’m more comfortable with it than I was with premiere and after effects. I love it. My only complaint rn is I can’t figure out how to tell resolve to look in different places for footage. I have a wedding video I’m doing rn and I have the original files on a network drive with copies on a portable SSD. I’m trying to relink the clips by telling resolve to use the ones on the portable ssd, but it keeps using the network drive clips. I even disconnected my laptop from my network, tried to relink from the SSD, and it’s telling me all my media is offline. Been having this problem for a while now. Media management was definitely easier on premiere. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks in advance and keep up the good work!
@Daniel_Batal3 ай бұрын
Do you have Resolve set to use proxies? I’m wondering if it made proxies in your system and the project default is assigned to find and use them.
@TimChicaul3 ай бұрын
@@Daniel_Batal I do work with proxies and yes I have davinci create them in app. That’s what I can’t figure out… I basically import my raw footage to a network drive and then generate proxies, right? Then I copy the proxies over to an SSD and work off of those from my MacBook with the intention of reconnecting all of the full resolution media once I’m ready to deliver. But in the case of my most recent project, I learned that those network drives are painfully slow when it comes to rendering so I wanted to copy them over to a local drive and render the project there, but da Vinci keeps looking for the network drive, even when it’s disconnected. Tried updating the paths in the settings and also changing the source folders in the media pool and nothing seems to work. I don’t get it. If I figure it out, I’ll probably make my own video on it because I’m sure others will have the same issue. Also thanks for taking the time to respond. You’re a pretty cool dude 🤙🏼
@Daniel_Batal3 ай бұрын
Yeah, I think you’re running into an issue with Resolve not recognizing the source files after you transfer and using the proxies. Next time instead of transferring files, try archiving your project instead of just saving it. Archiving creates a project save but with all of the source assets included.
