Thanks Mark for this tutorial! I would love to see a tutorial on how to animate a road map route turn by turn following curves as you go. In addition, dropzones would also be nice to apply highlighting places where you've been along the way. This would be awesome for traveler's getting a great story out in video form. I ride a Touring motorcycle. I take a lot of pictures and I would like to take the GPX file of the route taken, make it a line that I can then animate to show the route taken. I have seen rude attempts of this in other videos and they are not as detailed as I would like to show. m So, if I understand you, I would like to turn it into a line that I can add the motion to, similar to what you did here with the outline of Africa.

We have a plugin that will do animated lines from point A to Point B with various curve settlings, but precise turns and curves to follow a road is not possible.
