Animate Photoshop PSD File in After Effects - Convert Still Graphics to Motion Graphics

Hey friends👋🏽 In today's video I will show you how to open a Photoshop .PSD file in After Effects, so you can animate it and create motion graphics. Converting still graphics to animated graphics is not complicated at all. Follow me for a breakdown of this step-by-step process.

I need help, my psd file does not register correctly in AE. Every time I try to add a text effect I get an error message that says I can't add it because my text layer isn't a text layer. Please help!
