I drove 8 hours straight on mushrooms while holding an edible cupcake in one hand the entire time. My two friends were also tripping.. The one in the passenger seat wouldn't look at me because he thought he'd make me laugh and cause a car accident and the one in the back tried to sleep his trip off... Idk where he blasted off to. Only mishap was at the toll... I paid and waited for a minute or two for the attendant to say thank you and that it was okay for me to pass. It seemed like I waited for 30 mins before he said, okay thanks. I didn't want to disrespect the toll king though.

I’ve driven 3 hours while coming down from lsd and it was beautiful, easy, almost effortless. Like a mechanical horse galloping through the Appalachian mountains. Also saw some crazy stuff, a family of goats climbing cliffs beside the interstate, a big white petrified tree with a white owl perched on a branch hanging over the interstate and watched a hawk pick up a rabbit as it was hopping across the road in my rear view. I swear I’m not making this up. I felt like the universe was showing me these things for a reason. Everything just felt so connected and made sense. Acid is such an insane substance, man.

I think I drove just about every time I tripped. I'd do 3 grams of shrooms for a long road trip. That was a little bit on the edge when I was peaking. One time I did nine grams, and when it started to really come on, I got off the road and parked. It was obvious that I wasn't going to drive on that dose. One hit of acid was not a problem to drive on. It was pretty controllable. When I was driving and had to concentrate, the trippiness would back off, and when I got to where I was going and got out of the car, I'd start tripping more again. Didn't notice that kind of controllability on shrooms. The key to driving while tripping is don't take a crazy dose. I don't recommend it if you aren't an experienced driver. By the first time I drove while tripping, I'd already driven 40 or 50 thousand miles.

A few points I'd like to make. 1. 3.5 grams is a heavy shroom dose 2. Eating shrooms with food can pretty heavily reduce the intensity of a trip. 3. Shrooms really only max out at about 5 hours, meaning she was likely coming down as she drove. 4. Tripping while driving is not fun.

i drove very well on acid for like an hour from virginia to maryland a few weeks ago..first time trying. i initially began in a neighborhood to get the feeling of it but it was like i didn’t need to, it just felt natural. i was ultra aware of my surroundings, cruising at speeds over 100mph at times, always knowing when and how much space was needed to brake, and boy was it scenic..i’ve always loved experiencing driving on psychedelics as a passenger but it’s different as the driver. be safe though. ☺️

Jacob Kuraku I’ve driven many times on shrooms. Low dosages though (no more than 2g) However, you should be responsible with anything. Ok so while your comment isn't totally lucid, the one takeaway i have from it is you implying it's better to drive under the influence of psychedelics than alcohol. Absolutely not. Do not ever drive while high on anything, even if you think you can. I don't think it's ever been studied how psychedelics affect someone's ability to drive, but i have multiple friends woth DUI's on their records for driving while tripping.
