The Mafex DD is sick, but my only complaint because of personal preference is the dark red color. Ive always preferred the bright red daredevil because it just visually stands out similar to the Born Again cover

I’m mostly a legends collector. Over 150 plus. And probably 10 or so mafex. So when Hasbro put DD behind a paywall. Figures I didn’t want. I waited it out for this. And boy Mafex didn’t disappoint.

It’s not even close Mafex destroys the ML. Not trying to glaze, I don’t collect either lines. However, it’s clear to see that whoever was sculpting the Mafex had a better eye for anatomy. Not to mention the ML has very inconsistent sheens throughout, and a massive head. It doesn’t cost more to sculpt better proportions.

I remember when promo pics first dropped for Mafex DD and Cap dropped and almost EVERYBODY especially the Hasbros was shitting on them hard except YOU. My boy Animated stood on business and now it’s not even up for debate as to who made the better figures. It’s Mafex and it’s not even close 😂

These two are both one of the best molds used by their respective manufacturer. I think any figure works. But i have to give props to Hasbro for making such a good figure for once in their lives.

Definitely think that the marvel legends is a triumph. Easily captured the wally wood esthetic. One that hascrap should seriously consider doing an entire wave dedicated to daredevil's complex looks . The mafex is too expensive and looks unfinished. 😂❤👺

This is hydrogen bomb vs coughing baby. Articulation, accessories, price (considering the after market value on ML is almost the same to mafex on my country) goes to Mafex. Mafex is the clear winner. The only thing I like about the ML is the paint on the head sculpt. Great review!

Used to collect Toybiz legends. Hasbro is just rehashing too much molds/sculpts that their figures are starting to look same-ish. Especially that recognisable thigh sculpt 😂 Just save up a bit and get mafex. Your collection is probably small, but the quality is far better - and you're more likely to be satisfied.

After watching D Amazing and then your review, it's really cool how D's lighting makes the figure's red blast out real nice, and in a dimmer light like yours, he looks darker and scarlet. I really love the paint on this figure. I wish the neck was longer and I wish his hips weren't so female and bow legged. But I swear he's just so fkn cool if you pose him

Mezco figures can pose but they won't get striking poses -- but there are some collectors that will leave 6 inch figures in a statue poses. This compairson video makes sense because these are two current figures your likely to see on the market at a higher price. With that said, if you're going to splurge, the Mayfex is the better figure hands down. Anything over $30 for ML should be taken into consideration. The only leverage that ML has is the likelihood of getting complete teams under a single brand. People hate preordering because you have to stay stuck to the teet for news drops. Most preorders require full price up front and that can cause problems for reviews.

Mafex looking gorgeous if i collected ML id say that its one of the better figs but mafex i think takes it but to be expected from a more expensive figure. I'm hoping we get the hand of god suit or idk if I'd rather the black n red suit or the yellow n red or both😂

The newest Marvel Legends Daredevil from the three pack is definitely the best of the Marvel Legends Daredevil figure but my main gripe is that the Daredevil DD emblem does get a bit lost in the murky sea of red for the suit which is where Mafex I feel really shines

My only gripe with ML Daredevil, and the ML line in general, are these obnoxiously low shoulders. Like please change up your body molds, they don't look like superheroes.

The proportions look way better on Mafex. ML always looks like it has a big ass head. The only thing I don't like is how limited the Mafex legs are. I have several Mafex figures X-Men/Spiderman/Batman/Superman and I wish they had Jada toys levels of leg artifulation. For a super agile characters like Daredevil/Spiderman/Wolverine, they need extra leg articulation. But my $25 Fei Long from Jada can do better splits, front and back kick, and squats better than these Mafex figures.

Like Mafex Gambit compared the Marvel Legends Gambit the Daredevil is better and it’s not even close You’re better off buying the Mafex if you can find him for retail because he’s as much as 2 pack Daredevil right now anyway

I give the win to ML. Yes, I like the less shiny color of the Mafex and the better DD symbol. But I hate Mafex. To me they feel cheap. The joints always feel too loose. I hate the ball joint showing in the wrist and the weird looking ankles that look like sweat pants that overlap the shoes. The feet look terrible. And I despise the way Mafex uses those tiny pegs to attach the hands. I've had the Mafex Spiderman and Thor and got rid of both because they felt so dainty and delicate. Arms and hands popping off all the time, Thor's center peg being really loose and showing when you post him leaning even a bit, the porcelain doll look of the faces....sorry, but I can't stand Mafex.

I still prefer the Marvel Legends, my usual problem with Mafex figures is the lack of Thigh Swivel and Shin Swivel, you can swivel the thigh of Mafex but it's so limited.

Love the idea of comparing the Mafex to the ML. Well done. By the way, that is not cel shading on the character in the corner box (as that part of a comic book cover is known), it's good old comic book inking from the original 1960s comic book art. Back then the only things that were cel shaded were actual animation cels.
