This session is a travel guide for brave animators who are about to embark on a journey into the world of Unreal Engine. Join us to prepare yourself for the best trip, understand what to expect, anticipate any struggles, and get excited-because you’re going to love it.
Dimension will give an insight into how they have customized workflows and developed tools to help and support animators working in engine.
The talk will include an introduction to Unreal Engine for traditional 3D animators using Maya looking at the parallels between the two worlds as well as the differences.
You’ll learn about the UE animation philosophy and its linear content production workflows, and there will also be practical tips on workflows unique to UE that can open new animation routines.
This session is designed for traditional 3D animators and previs artists who haven't started animating in UE yet, as well as those who have (but are still finding their way through).
