Hi, Shika Maru, before joining Animation Mentor, I had only taken a basic 3D animation course, so my technical skills were quite limited. Later, I wanted to create more interesting animations, so I enrolled in this course, hoping to learn more techniques. The course videos are pre-recorded, and we generally follow these videos to complete our weekly assignments. Each week, professional instructors, most of whom have experience working at major companies like Disney or Pixar, spend a few hours reviewing our work and providing feedback for improvement. These instructors are very professional, and they can see things very differently from us. They can notice subtle differences in frames as small as 1/24 of a second. Through their guidance, not only do our animation skills improve, but we also learn to notice time discrepancies that we usually wouldn't pay attention to, which indeed affect the fluidity of the animation. I have only taken one course, and the subsequent courses should follow a similar format. I feel that if people want to do animation, it's worth learning. However, personally, I prefer the overall storyline. Sometimes, to pursue perfection in a few seconds of animation, it takes a tremendous amount of time. If a team is working together to create an animation, then the time cost is manageable. However, I'm doing it alone, the storyline might be more important. This is my insight. The process of creating animation is really enjoyable, and I hope that in the future, I will have more time to create and share interesting animations with everyone! ^_^
