I'd add/recommend "The Garden Of Words"(possibly the most beautifully animated scenes ever of any anime), "Children Who Chase Lost Voices", the sequel to "Whisper of the Heart" (a Ghibli film) which is "The Cat Returns" (which I think was animated by Ghibli, but I don't think it was directed by anyone at Ghibli??), "The Place Promised in Our Early Days", "A Letter to Momo"(reminds me of Totoro a bit), "Summer Wars" (that one's a bit scifi if I remember it correctly) and uh.. "Mary and the Witch's Flower" (definitely a "must see" if you like Ghibli!), and maybe I'll throw in a random short animation (not anime, but still neat) "The House of Small Cubes". If anyone has anything in a similar direction, please let me know! :D

I adore the concept of time and space mixed with love and memory, and how it affects destiny and free will. The storytelling is so ingenious with certain sound effects and transitions. Taki and Mitsuha's relationship is so engaging and imI just love how the concept of remembering plays so much into their love. And the soundtrack and all makes it all much more emotional (I was a MESS the 1st time I saw it) 🥺 It's simply amazing! It's a 10/10 movie for me ❤️

I watched all of the Studio Ghibli movies so thought I'd see what other anime movies were like. I saw that Your Name was very popular, so thought I would give it a go. And wow, Your Name completely shocked me, I absolutely loved it!!! It actually has everything; beautiful animation, emotional soundtrack, humour and sadness, the main characters are soooo likeable, I could go on and on. Since then, I've seen a few more anime's, and Your Name is still 100% my favourite!

Why am I not seeing anyone comment about Akira? Not only is it one of the greatest animated movies I've ever seen, but also one of the best movies I've seen in general. The animation and music is absolutely mesmerizing and unique, and the story is awesome as well. The movie is packed with action but also discusses deeper subjects such as the human mind, religion and the meaning of life. The film was released in 1988 but was waaay a head of its time. Such an underrated movie that has aged beautifully! Anyone who's interested in anime should definitely check Akira out because this movie had a huge impact on the anime industry and what it has become today.

You definitely need to watch Liz and the Blue Bird. Its one of my favorite films and its amazing. It was made by the same studio that made A Silent Voice and the same director. The story feels so small and yet so huge. Most of the story is told through body language and music. Its very slow but it helps the story and characters. When I originally watching I didn't think much of it, but it has stayed in my head for so long and its just an amazing film

At first try I was watching so much anime as I was introduced to anime for the first time then but the second time really the one where I felt it...my god the song is just so good. I mean anime style, story everything fantastic but the song is just the best...and then silent voice, I cannot explain how much I cried in that. I literally watched most of these films and they are amazing!!! And let me tell you, whether you watched them once or twice, if you understand most of the plots of the stories or not, whether you first cried or had the feels to these movies. You can’t deny that you just need to watch them only once or twice cause these films are the most common to watch, enjoy, and to bond over them. Plus you may have more memories and moments with someone or by yourself, whether it be the animation or the characters or the music for the second time or infinite time, you’re still gonna love it and never regret watching these amazing films. 🥰 Also thank you for making this video I been waiting for so long even though it’s has been almost two weeks but it felt like forever in a good that you finally made this video and that you enjoyed some of ours favorites. Mine being A Silent Voice. Maquia, Wolf Children, etc. And I love and adore Makoto Shinkai’s work, he’s literally my favorite anime Directors as well as Hayao Miyazaki and both are inspiration for me to becoming an artist and to achieve my goals. And Yes “Your Name” will be one of his best Works and best anime film ever as well as “Spirited Away” and it’s Beautiful. And for those people who haven’t watched these or starting to watch anime, I Highly Recommend theses as well!!! Also I’m loving your channel and your amazing person by the way! 😁😍🥰

When I'm almost at the end of the movie, I thought it was sad but not the type of sad that I'm gonna cry. Oh man, I was wrong. I want to add a movie to the list: Penguin Highway Penguin Highway is a fun movie where we follow this really smart and pragmatic kid who is obsessed with the idea of being a great man when he grows up. One day, all of the sudden, something weird started to happen: penguins started to appear in his town. So now, this kid takes this mistery as a challenge to prove he's more than prepared to be a grown adult by solving why are the penguins here. It is a really fun and cute movie, maybe not the best, but is a interesting experience. As a lot of anime movies, this movie gets weirder and weirder but in a fun way. The ending song is beautiful. And talks a lot about how we grow up, how a child's creativity can take you anywhere and how we, as humans, are scientists by nature.
