Yo they really came for you Joe in this video on FMAB 😭 I really loved frieren but i could probably only rewatch moments and scenes. I think FMAB/FMA was the gate way to discussing mortality for lots of people in this generation and then frieren took it up a notch but thats why they both stay up there and it will take some time for them both to come down.

I rewatch FMAB every year and you cannot tell me these moments still don't hit when watching-Shou and Nina Tuckers deaths, Maes Hughes death scene, Winry comforting Scar, Ed losing Al, Roy vs Envy. All these still hit when rewatching.

I don’t think Shanks got weaker when he lost his arm, I think his regular swordplay weakened. Mihawk doesn’t want to fight Shanks because an entire side of his body is open for someone of Mihawk’s skill.

Dog, let’s put into perspective how luffy operated when he first had haki, he didn’t have armament or observation, he started with conquers haki first and he was able to use it even though he had no idea that he had it. Based off that information I’d think that shanks started off with strong coc haki when he was in his younger years and was aware of that ability but didn’t quite get the hang of armament and observation as of yet.

Thank u. Someone finally giving the many flaws of one piece. Ngl I can’t stand one piece tho I used to like it I’d prefer to get why I don’t like it of my chest No one dies so rlly no tension. Can’t take the designs seriously. Repetitive in several arcs. I don’t see character development in the straw hats. Villains are hit or miss(except doflamingo ) it’s called a masterpiece even tho I can name 5 trash arcs that made me rage quit (thriller bark, skypiea, some parts of wano and dressrosa the fucking foxy arc Also the anime is god awful to me.6/10 even the pacing can affect the manga took

Yes but the good aspects heavily outweigh the negatives. Just the themes and narratives of one piece make it a masterpiece because no other series has ever tried to tackle that many themes in a cohesive story. The strawhats are static characters so their purpose in the story is to change the world they interact with. Btw skypeia is genuinely a masterpiece if you take your time to understand the story being told. English professors and book analysts call one piece a masterpiece so that just shows that it's a legitimate good work of fiction

@@otitoekwueme4271 it might seem repetitive, but each arc does have individual themes, and each one has a distinct purpose for the story. A bad apple in the haystack doesn't prevent something from still being phenomenal. The good moments of one piece compensate for the slower arcs. I respect ur opinion though
