Okay, I'm feeling a bit guilty since this is a serious comment. But I want to address on how Aki was in this video compared to when she makes her own videos. It's pretty understandable since she's now staying in Japan and worked with a corporation and their style is different from hers so she couldn't react much compared to both Shiori and Joey. And I'm pretty sure I'll do the same thing if I were in her position. Otherwise, it's a great video. Keep up the good work.

Understandable, though. She has some anxiety issues, which makes her less "good" in spontaneous video's without scripts like this one. Also, she's the least fluent of the three in Japanese. And as you might have noticed in this video, there was a lot of Japanese going on in these video's. On the other end, Shiori is used to these kind of video's and Joey is able to adapt to a lot of situations he's being thrown into. So Aki just had a disadvantage as a screen presence in this video (and probably other similar video's). Heck, she might have felt like the third wheel on the wagon a lot of the times as well. Though on the other end, I couldn't imagine any of their other common influencers being a better fit for these video's.

Yeah, I was a bit honed in on Aki. I definitely don't want to start anything, but there is a very visible feeling, in this video that really made me , focus on Aki. This may simply just be a matter of Aki getting acclimated. to this type of programming and what not and this is no jab, at any of them. Sometimes it just takes a period of adjustment to get into the swing of things.

I think that's because there were too many hiragana in a row. As this is a manga museum, children must be able to read the script, so they use very few and basic kanji. This may sound crazy, but once you know kanji well(as almost every adult japanese does), reading is waaaaaay easier and faster with them than without them because there's more noticeable variation throughout the text, so you can grasp every word very quickly, you get used to it, and in the end reading all plain hiragana and katakana becomes actually hard hahahah. Imagine that you already know how to read every kanji in these sentences, which one do you think would be easier to read? "宇宙パイロットに成って皆を守りたいんです" or (as displayed in the museum) "うちうパイロットになってみんなを守りたいんです" That's my two cents, have a nice day!

Because i am being rude) can tell that you were ditzing around the internet, saw this one comment describing a person who likes anime and you were like "So that word is used to call that kind of person" When really it describes' a person that's not Japanese, but wishes they were. they're obsessed with Japanese culture. they integrate Japanese words into every day language. (Note: I too integrate Japanese words into my speech, but never mixed with English words. If i speak in Japanese, i'll do it from start to end) See, Joey is half Japanese. As far as I've noticed, Shiori IS Japanese. And Aki simply likes anime.

I feel like this channel is improving so much as they explore the different creativity and art in Japan.I didn't know there were so many different things to do in Niigata. One small teeny bit of critique I have to mention. I noticed after you are done with an activity, the dialogue always start with "So we had just finished.." and it has been overused. I don't mind this dialogue because I hear it in other videos, but maybe try to use it at least 2 or 3 times? Apart from that, keep it up and I look forward to see your next video ~!

Niigata Furustad Village is the perfect place to buy souvenir (お土産) while you are visiting in Niigata. I recommend to buy a local sake «Hakkaisan» (八海山), and rice crackers from Niigata Prefecture (新潟県). This is because after my opinion; Niigata has the best quality of rice in Japan. If you have a chance you should also taste their sushi; fresh fish from the Niigata fish market combined with the best rice = heaven taste!

Lol reading the comments on this from a year ago is shocking and disappointing I can’t believe how many people read body languages so wrong. Aki was tired, did you guys not hear they recorded extra video for two other videos including one that belongs to Aki? She was exhausted also from the photo shoot (photo shoots are long and so much posing plus make up+wardrobe). Honestly Joey is a very nice dude and he tries his best to make everyone feel welcomed so he was probably just covering for his and Aki’s exhaustion. I don’t understand why so much Aki hate, you try recording videos for possibly 10+ hours and being bubbly throughout the whole thing. Not only that you don’t know if the day before they also recorded things for other projects as well. Like geeze people common sense... It's drink and food. Considering you're getting at least 1 drink and looks like 2-4 food items per ticket, it seems like a pretty decent deal.
