Totally agree about 17. Ugh. When he said he was going to write about the side chars, I was like either 1: He's so popular now he can get away with it, or 2: his publisher is making him do it to milk that money, or 3: both. I can kind of get why he's filling in on Velgrynd's journey to get her beaux's soul back, because its an important plot point, but I think a few paragraphs would have summed up the same thing.
