First thing to correct: 2C is NOT a low. It's a LEG ATTRIBUTE. You can block it high, but it beats anything that has autoguard Body/Head. Like Tager's Sledge for instance. But it won't hit you if you just block. Another thing: your most important button is 6B, really. You can go anywhere from that. You can do instant overhead with kadmos (no damage, but keeps them shook), you can to low with 2B, it's jump cancellable (obviously) so you can get away if you so choose, you can go into stance. It's the good start. And if it lands, it's decent damage. 2C dies to jump-ins, if you're predictable with and to leg-invul moves. It's a very good move, but not your "go to" move. Also, using Drive for pressure is usually really damn unsafe. It's possible to dab on people who don't know how matchup goes, but, for instance, with 6DA/6DB mixup, there's a very universal answer - super jump. Just super jump. Kagura wiffs and feels stupid about it. And even on block, the safest way you can possibly finish the "Drive in block" is 5DA->Backdash which is like... -8 on block. But puts you far enough for fast pokes not reaching you. You still lose your turn completely though. No complaining about 2DA tho. 2A->2DA is the mixup of gods. Literally unreactable. You either predict that it's coming or explode.

Excellent guide Jiyuna, just wanna point out that his projectile is acually really good overall (A being good for combos/pressure and B for Oki) also you can abuse Dragon Blast (5DA) if people like to mash out of pressure or to make things safe cause you can dash cancel in both way. Thats kinda the theme with Kagura btw, really good specials and drive moves but very meh normals but if you get the right starter you can basically do Hakumen lvs of damage, also always try to push the opponent into the corner cuz thats where his damage doubles. Also ye Es is basically a better Kagura wich is why i despise her

Pro tip, just neutral jump when you see the start of the cross-up/fake cross-up. Easy escape.

You can os the fake cross up, when your blocking you input 1 hold b and mash a(this also works with hibiki 214d). I think this was the os I might be wrong tho

IMO of you are just starting out, 2C 2DC 5DC [2]8C [8]2C ->a fireball oki is lower execution and good enough punish out of 2C. That BnB is too strict (3C timing is very tight) to hit without a ton of practice for someone like me. I need to use more 2DA, tho

I'm clearly missing something, because in attempting to perform the bread combo shown off at the start of the video, I cannot get the 5D-C to jump cancel in order to proceed with the combo.
