I don't think AOT needs a good animation to be a good anime. it has a solid story we can invest into. and compared to other shitty adaptations of great source materials, i have to say AOT is lucky to get 3 beautifully animated seasons. s4 also had it moments so i'm just glad of what we have.

S4 animation wasn't even terrible, for an adaptation made in 7 months it looked great. it was just not as good as the other 3 seasons which had incredible animation

@@martind5653 it was alright, just ok at best. The CGI was ok at times but the attack on libero CGI was straight garbage. I’m assuming CGI is quicker and easier to do than normal animation because if not then why did they waste time on it. The poor animation ruined a bunch of the impactful scenes in this season. If you read the manga or have already read it you’d see what I’m talking about. From the Jacket scene to others, we’re fumbled because of the animation

I'm so disappointed with MAPPA. I would've waited 2 years if it meant WIT would come back. I pray part 2 won't be CGI Titans after 123 because that's when the season goes from humans and some Titans to just Titans for multiple episodes. If it's all CGI then you might as well call AoT a CGI anime like Berserk 2016 and Black Rock Shooter.
