Knowing what I know now, I completely understand Reiner's statement: If there's one person we shouldn't want to have the Founder, it's Eren. He doesn't care for the 'big picture', for who did what in the past, for who is right or wrong, or what the best possible outcome for all of humanity would be. He just wants to use this power to destroy everything that threatens him, his friends, and his family. Understandable! But in the grand scheme of things, this doesn't make him any better than anybody else who used / wanted to use this power for their own good.
