The Steam version has a built in netplay in it that is delay based and is as youd expect from it. Most ppl play using CCcaster, a rollback type netplay mod which uses a cracked version of original PC release and is coordinated via discord. (Someone else can link the discord it if they`d like) While I will use the CCcaster version to play with others, I will recommend getting the Steam version to support French Bread, and to not look sus in onsite events.

As a former Dbfz player, Melty blood is a lot like it, except that there is no superdash or assists, wjoch were my least fav parts of the game tbh. Really fun game on bet play too
