All that time ago when I watched this movie (around the time the Goblin Slayer movie came out) I thought you would triple max win that final match... all the points being won at were wrong, I am glad my faith paid off. Its no Film red but This is still one of my fav. I liked Film Red so much because its badass OST and Soundtrack. So rare a musical expresses feelings so well out of Disney/Pixar like movies but Film Red did. You do not require being caught up in the series to enjoy it; So if you are concerned about that and Do not wish to cover it then no fear. If you care about spoilers then don't. That is even if the Movie never comes up in your poles you should see it for your self.

4:39 I love the little thing of her eyes actually moving back and forth as if she's reading where as most animations could get away with their eyes just being fixed to one spot and no one would really care. It's the little details that start to pile up that make things like this great.

One of the things I noticed about this movie is that they remade a lot of the osts for this movie for better impact. Really love the effort put in the creators on this project and hyped for the upcoming season

One of the best things in the movie is kazuma’s internal monologue on how he saying that he doesn’t need the greatest mage in the world when he has one that can blow away a general of the demon king in a single blast and if you know a better one, he would love to see them, that final quote is one of my favorites

One of the best anime movies I've ever seen. I've never in my life been constantly interested for 1h 30m without spacing out or getting bored. I'm constantly looking forward for the next scene and it never fails to give me positive feelings

I don't think "Gods Blessing On This Wonderful World" even applies to the show's fictional world alone. I think it applies to our real one too. There are several parts of this movie that almost made me shed a tear and one that actually did.

probably one of the best anime series based movies ever imo simply because its not just some random throwaway storyline that's probably never going to be touched on again when going back to the main series this movie was genuinely amazing and had me in tears for a variety of reasons throughout

This was the most win-packed episode reviewing any part of Konosuba. The movie lasted little more than half of each season, but it got just about as many wins as a full season did. I love Konosuba, and I'm glad to see that it got a combined win count over 450. My favorite character in the whole Konosuba series is Wiz.

I made the mistake of eating an edible before watching this and I was in tears because of the end. Seeing Kazuma encourage Megumin to follow her dreams after she gave up on them is perfect. And as someone who reads the Novels know that the smoke heart means way more than you think.

It had been a while since I last saw this movie, and while I remembered it being funny and great, I forgot how much of it was actually connected to the rest of the story, making it feel plot-relevant and genuinely heart-warming in the end. Konosuba is really something special, copious jiggle physics and all. Great video as always!

Best part of the bedroom scene's is you know the Mom trapped them together the first time; but Megamin still blames Kazuma b/c of his reputation. The 2nd time though, we don't know for certain, was it mom, was it him, was it both working together? I do like that most of the animation is mostly done mid to save money, but they sprinkle in a few pieces here or there to make sure you know what they are capable of when allowed. Its been brought up so much, but this anime works so well b/c the characters act like real teenage friends in real life. Sometimes it comes out genuine and kind, and sometimes it comes out as playful, and sometimes cruel when one steps out of line. This show allows you to truly relate w/the entire group. I want a spin off of Wiz's adventures before she becomes a lich and that ends w/her becoming one. I'm guessing her and her group were complete badasses. Also a cinema sin for this only having 32k views and 2.4k upvotes. This vid should have 10x's that.

Great vid and it was a fun movie. Konosuba is a bit much for me (I have to watch it in small chunks) but your dead on, when it moves from humor to feels, it does so perfectly. But sadly, not enough YunYun...best character in the show, or best at drawing out the best in Megamin. The cast's appearance in Isekei Quartet is still my fav though.

To be fair, the reason they include things from the series in this movie is because it's an adaptation of book 5. So the real win is for being a pretty faithful adaptation that only leaves out a few sidequests on the way to Crimson Demon Village, plus adds some stuff to the final battle sequence to make it more exciting.

Great video. I'm not sure if it would be covered in Season 3, but later on in the story, one of the plots basically recommends that you read the first couple of side stories focusing on Megumin's backstory and how she got into Explosion magic so that readers won't get lost in regards to certain details, characters, and developments. I wonder if they are going to do what the light novel did for Season 3 onwards and make the Megumin spin-off necessary watching for the plot. Either way, more Konosuba greatness is always welcome in my book.

Not sure if you haven’t heard, but Explosion Side Story was announced as a TV anime at the same time as Season 3 and will be airing in 2023, before Season 3. There are a couple of trailers for Explosion Side Story and there’s still no new info for Season 3, other than it being in production. The new Studio Drive will likely cover all three books, so we may get more episodes than the 10 per season of Konosuba. This led to people believing that they plan on adapting another season after Season 3, which could lead to them adapting Continued! Explosion Side Story, as well.

If I'm being honest, I'm not a fan of how the movie dragged out the battle with Sylvia. Part of it is just how I'm not easily sold on action scenes for action scenes' sake, but mainly it's because my favorite thing about volume 5 is that it was the first major deep dive into Megumin as a character-exploring where she came from, how much she values her party in general and Kazuma in particular, and culminating in that beautiful scene at the end-and I felt like the expanded Sylvia battle dragged attention away from that character study while not doing much to support it. Also it was just way funnier for Komekko steal everyone's thunder and have that anticlimax be the last word, so that means the scene also doesn't help support the overall series goal of being a comedy, either.

there were 2 scenes in the manga i wished showed up during this movie but besides that this movie was perfect. im talking about the tranquility plant scene and the camping scene where kazuma talks about his previous life to darkness and megumin
