@@theweirdshow2860 the purpose is outweighed by efficiency. there's dedication to the craft and there's arbitrary difficulty for the sake of something that most people wouldn't notice otherwise. im glad to see dedication, and its possible that he could only do it frame by frame since rolling it could make it land somewhere it wasn't supposed to, or made it feel like a small object like it is, and not a full sized ball with weight to it. if there's an easier way to do things most artists would do it.

I used to did this as a kid, with an early sony ericsson phone, without youtube inspiration or internet, just full of creativity, imagination and curiousity

The video is amazing, certainly. But let's talk about the quality of that figma as well. It's so workeable that it lends itself to the tiny movements required for stop animation beautifully. Of course the patience and effort going into creating the stop motion is admirable though, something absolutely worth commending ❤

This is the definitive Red design, in my opinion. I love how they slightly shrunk his arms and legs to give him shorter proportions to that of which he had in the Origins Anime and 2004 game.
