Zakirji is a great tabla player but if u listen to any recording of his you will find he has played the same compositions everywhere. But if u listen to Anindoji's tabla u will find that something new is being played. Both are great artists but i think Anindoji is very versatile and his playing is most effortless.

@budhwaterloo can you play a tabla like this? It's a very difficult composition which very very few or none tabla players dare to play and he has done it very effortlessly. He playes these compositions so that we get benefited and very few players try these things. Try appreciating all the beautiful things around you.

Yeah but when tafo khan is playing half the audience has no clue what he is playing. See each composition has a maximum speed and when that speed is passed then the piece becomes non musical

he plays 100x better than zakir.he deserves more than him.100x faster and 1000x clearer.zakir ji only produces harsh sound I hate punjab gharana.I also belong to punjab but like farukhabad gharana more.I don't say that zakir bhai plays bad but pandit ji deserves more for sure
