Something I found interesting while reading the LN, is that early on Great Sage only developed things like dark flame and black lightning after Rimiru suggested combining the skills so it gives more credit to Rimiru for thinking it up and Great Sage just executes it, the anime and manga make it seem that Great Sage automatically optimised the skills itself outside of Rimiru's input, which didn't really start to happen in the LN until Great Sage evolved into Raphael. Ciel just flat out messed with skills as a hobby. 😆

I love how Rimuru when he becomes a demon lord is one of the most powerful Isekai characters, and yet his universe is so powerful that he isn't even close to the top 10 if you include all the characters in the universe. These are spoilers, but they are only really past feats, so it doesn't affect the story, but it shows how powerful Tensura's power system is: Milim vs Guy fight would have destroyed the world itself if it was not for others, Guy vs Velzard froze the entire world over, and even someone like Leon, who is on par with post demon lord evolution Rimuru, can sink continents. You also have characters who can destroy continents with one spell and multiple characters with light speed attacks. The Tensura universe is completely broken.

That is the conversation at near the end of the WN (at the end of time itself), when Rimuru basically says that a replica is still a replica , combined with what is said in the final bit of the WN itself when he starts talking about and doing things in, complete other worlds. Which are literally completely separate existences, aka multiple universes. Here is an interesting thought for you, perhaps you have heard it before. The system that Veldanava created killed him, because he fathered Milim and thus his attention/love would no longer be spread equally. First by stripping him of power, then outright killing him. This same system then sets out to create a replacement for the dead creator. Which it eventually does in the form of the former Satoru Mikami.

@@whyjnot420 you're mostly right except for the part about the system taking away veldanava's powers, cause it didn't and it never had the power to do so......the reason the system was even able to harm veldanava was because veldanava gave up his omnipotence and omniscience because he was bored and then lost most of his powers when milim was born as milim took took most of his powers thus after this it was made taboo to never bear children for true dragons.....the system was created by veldanava himself,it was veldanava's will and in a way he was just punishing himself for breaking his own rule of not loving any single individual more than the others......as far as looking for replacement goes it was justice king michael who was looking for ways to revive veldanava, not the system.Also, it was heavily implied in the WN that rimuru is actually veldanava's reincarnation/consciousness taken physical form.

Like, in the manga he admits that becoming a demon lord by literally slaughtering 20,000 people is morally wrong but he's willing to do it for Shion and the others. There's even a whole extra chapter from the enemy soldiers point of view showing a father who joined the army's force to protect his family from what his country claimed to be a dangerous congregation of monsters. And it shows Rimuru understanding that this man has a family waiting and that he has done nothing wrong... And then Rimuru kills him regardless... just to meet his demon lord quota. Those were honestly some of my favourite chapters so far and it showed Rimuru accepting himself as no longer human. But the anime just skipped over this like it was some sort of righteous act.

I think Rimeru as a Demon Lord is likely boardline godhood, given everything he has at his disposal, about the only other Iskai character that could likely match his power is Aiz from Overlord but then we haven't exactly seen every trick he has to offer, so they could be pretty much on par with one another, still a battle between the two would be kind of intersting to see who wins, the slime or the skeleton!

Rimuru's body double skill is different from ifrit actually. In the last part of volume 1 of the lightnovel, it was said that rimuru can only create 1 clone, just that that clone has the same strength as the original(except the magicules in it)

@@noobfart it can use unique and ultimate skills to an extent, as long as he supplied it with it(using gluttony) beforehand. Rimuru's clone used gluttony against hinata. You can't say it wasn't his clone fighting, but his real body, since he moved his conscious in a clone. Cause while it may look that way in the anime, in tbe manga, rimuru created a clone before hinata even approached him(right after soue's warning). Edit: in other words, as long as it possess the magicules necassary to use that skill(even unique or ultimate), it can use it. The reason clones can't normally use unique or ultimate skills is cause clones are usually supplied with a very low amount of magicules and used as disposable decoys, thus don't have nearly enough to use those skills, or it may be because unique and ultimate skills are engraved in the soul(both differently), thus the clone which doesn't posses the soul can't use them. This is mostly my hypothesis though, but with only 1 clone(can pump a lot of magicules into it) and the supply skill of gluttony that shouldn't pose a problem.

Milim's father was the creator god, so even tho he doesn't have Veldanava's memories, (it might something have to do with her revived pet dragon's soul missing), his personality and passion for building stuff carried over to his human self and slime form still remained intact.
