I thought the king was the only guy who didn't hate the hero In the manga, the citizens were scared of his power, and hated him for not aging, so they begged the king to kill him, the king tells him the situation, and tells the main character he could give him a mansion, or live in the castle, but the MC left because of the people found out, they would overthrow the king

Yeah, these recap channels get A LOT wrong. They don't exist to do a good job, they exist to churn out content. The sheer amount of times this channel misgenders characters is bizarre, but a clear indicator the person reading the narration probably hasn't even seen the anime they are narrating and haven't a clue about any of it.
