I had a cousin who had big pupils in general. Her pupils were never small and she had a lot of trouble in the sunlight. It made her horribly insecure because she had dark blue eyes with big pupils while her younger brother had light blue eyes with small pupils. Her family cant afford to go to the hospital, but she doesnt have vision problems

Sounds like physiological anisocoria, which is really common. Just a longstanding difference in pupil sizes, but normal eye movements, normal eyelids, normal colour of eyes (iris). Around 20% of people have some difference in pupil sizes. Definately dont stress about it!

you need to see an eye surgeon. if the eye with the smaller pupil is painful, it may well be due to inflammation within the eye, which is treatable. A neurological cause such as Horner syndrome should have been ruled out by our neurologist.

Adie's pupil is benign. At least you don't have a horribly debilitating disease that is going to ruin your life. And doctors very frequently care about fixing aesthetic problems (see: plastic and/or reconstructive surgery). If you are so very concerned about the condition, why don't you research it and attempt a cure? Since your mental capacities are in no way affected by Adie's pupil this should be easy, right? I am so sick of people harping on doctors and science...
