A fantastic routine from a great team... SO interesting to learn the person who choreographed this also did Kilmova/Ponomareko's GREAT 1992 Olympic routine which I thought was a masterpiece

4:41 what? Compulsories and OD are a little weakering? Compared to whom?

In their imagination!

She meant the FD is stronger for them compared to their compulsories and OD. She wasn't comparing them to any other team in that particular statement...

@PeirsolFan2 well, but their compulsories deserved silver, and only because their concurrents were Grishchuk & Platov with the best compulsories ever ! Regarding OD ...in 1998 Anissina &Peizerat had amazing and most technically difficult OD. (Imho)

@muscleboi4use This really was incredible. I would've put them in second place here.

They deserved to win this event. Gritschuk & Platov probably deserved to win the FD but they had a crappy OD skate here complete with a big fal land should have been way down in that part. What is most ridiculous is they even won the OD and A&P who had by far the best OD were put 3rd.

@@tylerbam7183 Oh that's right, G&P did fall in the OD at this event. In that case, I could see an argument for A&P to have won this event. I guess the problem for them is that they (A&P) were still climbing back up the rankings after a not so good 1996-1997 season. And they were unfairly marked during the 1995-1996 season.

@@tylerbam7183 there is video of OD recap from this event ("Review of the Original Dance - 1997/1998 Champions Series Final, Ice Dancing") and the commentators actually have the audacity to say that Anissina & Peizerat' OD was "off center" whereas Bourne & Kraatz showed "carefree interpretation of the dance". aargh!!!!!!!!!!!

@@gk891 Yes their bad 97 season hurt them. They did well to come back to medal at the Olympics given the way ice dance typically works. They also should have beaten G&P at Trophee de France where G&P had a terrible huge fall and took long to get back into, and the program itself did not even have near the content of late in the season. 2 judges put them 1st but it was a joke they didn't win outright there. Even Susie Wynne said so and while she is not the best ice dance commentator she is not an irrational G&P hater like Tracy Wilson. A&P were robbed blind throughout the 98 season even though at Olympics and worlds they atleast got 3rd and 2nd. 3rd at the Olympics was fine as they messed up their OD which is their strongest dance there, and their compulsories weren't even great here, but they were robbed of winning worlds where K&O had a subpar 2nd CD that was held up and where A&P killed them in the OD.

@@MsRumex That is so incredibly ridiculous. They had the best OD that season by miles.

Comme d'habitude, le manque de fair play des amerloques et des mangeurs de caribou est notoire. Gwendal et Anissina ont les mieux patiné. Ca leur a mis la rage a chaque fois.
@alien88552 жыл бұрын
Lol so true they always got robbed in competitions especially in Worlds 99 and 2001 cuz of corrupted judges. They have always done such wonderful & memorable performances in Ice dancing and fans loved them but the judges would always give them shitty marks?! Nway atleast they still won 1 Worlds and Olympic gold.

les juges canadiens et americains auraient du etre bannis. c est quoi ces notes de merde?! l americain a meme mis les canadiens devant gritchuk platov n importe koi !
