Hi Anita, I’m Connie from Adelaide South Australia and I just wanted to say how much I enjoy your videos. I also press everything as soon as its been stitched, it gives a professional finish and you are about the only one who stresses this. Your instructions are always clear and easy to follow and your sewing is beautiful and a pleasure to watch. Thanks for the work you put into these videos!🥰💐 I just wanted to add that although I’ve been sewing for 50 years or so I always love to learn something new and today i did. It was the tip on how to ease in the extra bit of fabric on the waistline as you were pinning it to the band! Great tip which I hadn’t seen before. See? You can teach an old dog new tricks!

Awesome! I'm so glad you appreciate the small details. I agree that pressing gives that clean, polished finish. And I'm willing to put in extra work for a great outcome. Glad you enjoyed the easing tip. Yep, I'm always learning too. I LOVE learning new sewing tips. Thank you for being here.

You give amazing details for the construction of the garments you sew. I wish I had received this kind of instructions when I was learning to sew. Growing up my pants were always 'cropped' because I was growing faster than the budget allowed. I will sew a pair of long pants instead of the cropped ones and follow your wonderful directions. I am going to get out my copy of the book from the Singer sewing library. Thank you so much for your incredible details.

This was just wonderful Anita! I just saw you tonight and not sure how I landed here but I am sew glad I did! Been sewing for ages, but I tend to not sew my own clothes as I am so short and never feel I look good in what I sew for myself. I love these pants and I have a granddaughter getting married end of June and I would love to make a pair of navy pants as you have shown and a top of some kind. I'm older and carry extra weight in upper half and tummy so it will be a challenge but I am up for it. I love these pants and I love how you styled it. You are amazing and your personality alone is a God send and your knowledge is precise. Loved your video so had to subscribe. I can't wait to see more of your designs and sewing lessons. I did make my own wedding dress and coat to go with it of Spanish lace back in the day and my daughters wedding gown and hat and vestments for the church ministers........but then again, it's been many years. Anita, I am so delighted to find you. I began sewing as a young teenager, made some clothes for myself and our kids when they were young, but got away from doing so because of time issues and not feeling confident about making adjustments to patterns for a better fit. Have been quilting by machine for several years. But, I hope to get back into sewing some for myself. Wanting to try pants with invisible zipper on side or in back, preferring a flat front. So glad to watch this tutorial. Your teaching and video are excellent in so many ways!!! Will be looking for more of your videos. Thank you so much for sharing.

How fortuitous. I am going to be making these cropped pants (and the top) next week. I can’t wait to watch this entire video.
