Probably one of my all time favorite actors. Her performance in The Grifters as Lilly is phenomenal on every level. I bought and read both books and they were well written. Her trajectory still has a way to go. Women in that town have to endure such scrutiny because of aging. I like her secret to aging. Smile. She didn't get where she is due to nepotism but she did get the old school Hollywood vibe from her up bringing. She has class and there's not much of that anymore. 💖

Somehow Anjelica Huston never turned me on. I never saw many of her films because she always seemed like a 'hard core' person. A tough woman so to speak. And I'de heard that she was living 'common law' with Jack Nicholson which people of my generation and moral beliefs do not believe in. And then I didn't like her father's moral character either. A dirty old man. A rich one - but a dirty one. But now after hearing this interview with Larry King, I may have a different opinion of her. I guess none of us should judge unless we know the FULL STORY. And then again - JUDGE NOT, LEAST THEE BE JUDGED.

James Robison I'm British and it's interesting that you say that. With most nationalities, it's possible to tell where somebody is from by observing their behaviour and features. I always said that Sigourney Weaver looked very 'English' before reading that she is infact half English with her mother being an English actress. Also Sigourney descends from medieval English kings. Interesting and yes, Anjelica just stands in a class of her own.
