Don't always agree with him, but, he had great guests, or would be covering whatever event was currently happening ... you could always look forward to something interesting or even shocking!! Really miss that, because like I said, we won't see any type of show like this in any time soon! My God, there's no snow like that anymore worth a plug nickel!

Let me say this about Larry King. The day after Tammy Faye Baker died who appeared on his show the night before he said: "I know she is now in the arms of the Jesus she loved so much. " Larry has always questioned the existence of God. This comment is burned in my heart. The kindness and graciousness of these heartfelt words. Thank you Mr. King.

I had the pleasure and honour of knowing Larry personally for many years....going back to 2006 when I was so excited to be in LA for the premiere of my new film that I had produced. A mutual friend of ours insisted we meet up with Larry and give him a copy of my film. And of course that first meeting happened at his favourite Deli in Beverley Hills for breakfast! I've never met anyone like Larry, he's about as direct as they come! When the cameras aren't rolling he says what he thinks no holds barred... when he wants something he goes for it. And rarely takes no for an answer!! No matter who you are he wants to know everything about you as if you're the most important celeb sitting across from him on the show, perpetually curious. And he's definitely a big FLIRT and a true Lady's man!! lol But that's no secret, that's how he ended up being married 7 times!! And knowing him, I'm kind of surprised he didn't marry at least 4 or 5 more....he just ran out of time! He was either a glutton for punishment or an eternal optimist!! But really, as he once explained, deep down he was just a hopeless romantic...always searching for "the" ONE..the soulmate..... that exciting new SPARK, or maybe the forbidden fruit!! lol I think he was in love with the fantasy of being in love more than the reality which never measures up!! I'm just so sad that he's gone. It finally hit home for me tonight. I tried to ignore reality. I'm never going to get another funny surprise call with that voice of his saying "Hi there... this is your secret admirer calling...what are you wearing???" Then he'd get put in his place and we'd have some laughs!! What a character!! I feel fortunate that I got to meet the man when the cameras weren't rolling and he was "Just Larry." He was authentic and not affected by fame or show biz. Humble and down to Earth. One of the best memories I have was flying down to NY when the Friar's Club threw a huge gala in his honour and presented him with the Lifetime achievement award in 2011. THAT was such a great time. The Who's Who of show biz all showed up to honour him!! He was in his glory!! And he deserved every minute of it!! The world lost a media mogul and show biz icon, his kids lost a super, loving dad who always put them first. His friends lost a very loyal, caring, amazing true friend. I just wish I could have had one more call to say good bye. He had a great life, he left an indelible mark in his 60+ year career. And a great void in his absence. No one will ever fill those suspenders! I know he's at peace. He's probably running his own talk show in Heaven interviewing the two biggies.... God and the Devil!! Just to see who wins the debate!! The original opposing parties!! And let's not forget flirting and proposing to the angels!! He will be sadly missed by so many, including myself and especially those who knew him well. But no one more than his amazing boys whom he adored more than anything in the world. Bless you Larry for all you contributed to the entertainment world and beyond, rest in eternal peace, love, truth and suspenders, always.
