The language I'm teaching is not Bokmål nor Nynorsk. It's an Oslo-dialect and I don't think you will have much problem with bokmål after this. :) And everyone will understand this.

Nice to hear a foreigner speak Norwegian. Most people told me you can barely learn the local language in the scandinavian countries cause everybody speaks English. No such thing peeps!

Does anyone know of an app like tandem, or any other app where you can write to and speak with native speakers, that is used in Norway? Or an app that has many Norwegian speakers. I have been using Tandem, but there are not very many Norwegian speakers to help with my language skills. Thanks

I make this mistake of learning the language by text first by accident, so it's harder to listen without Norwegian subtitles. Also I don't have many speakers to help me, so..I don't advance in my dialogue much.

All I want more than anything is to live in Norway. I am only 17 now but I know it is very expensive with the application fee to even be considered for a work or residence visa. If I could even hold a rock from that country I would freak out, that’s how much jeg elsker Norge. See this is the kind of mentality people from non Nordic country should take with them when coming to one of the EU or Nordic countrys , nice to see, that is something I can respect. Sadly this seems to be more of a rare mentality than a common!?

@@username42 Well Nordic then. But i was not referring to the political version of EU but more the geographical part. Since I do consider Norway and Sweden as part of the Scandinavian/Nordic/vest European countrys.

It’s so easy to understand you. I wonder how the Vikings became so Christian? It shows they are worth a lot. Yea, they’ve been so many places and done so much but to then choose Jesus Christ after all is incredible. I am something from so many places even a little Nigerian. And quite a lot Norwegian but yet I taught myself German first and by age 18 the older people in Germany (I am Only American so far) had said they couldn’t believe I wasn’t native. It is a good balance, my blod. I can see there are no great people but the people who know the LORD, we shall be Hephzibah! Jå? Ja? Ken? Da? Etc. Etc.
