The best Qi2 Powerbank in general not only from Anker, is still their first one with the stand and 10k. I tested a couple of Qi2 power banks lately, including this one or the new from Ugreen, they all have some throttling issues. Some more, some less. They all throttle eventually, it's given, but the "old" Anker Qi2 Powerbank distributes the heat the best. I did a couple of tests, 20-80%, same Phone, same conditions, always under 23°C room temperature. This one is nice, it's slimmer, it looks slick. But it has some issues and it's getting too hot too quickly. If you want Qi2, grab the older model. Its a bit thicker, but its worth it - if you want wireless Charging ofc.

Whats fascinating about it the phone still gets hot while charging and often basically stops charging, but the display never dims anyway. Another cheaper magsafe powerbank or fast charging it always dims.

I was actually considering buying both the new Anker batteries and running tests myself to find out which one wouldn’t throttle but now that I know it’s the older model. I’m definitely gonna pick up a couple and they’re also having a $20 off coupon on Amazon at the moment.

Hi, it shows that it charges at 30w, but it still takes around 2.5 hour to fully charge a power bank. Isn’t it suppose to charge it to full in 1.5 hour with the wattage?

You missed the all important point. How many times can it charge? Your phone, that sort of information would be important to someone Who is on the move?

It’s 10,000 mAh. 5,000 mAh would essentially take a modern Pro/Pro Max iPhone from 0%-80% with a full charge, a 10,000 mAh would give you 0%-100%, then another say 50%-90% once it drops back down on a single charge. Generally, I’d just always recommend a 10K, especially if you’re going to not replace it for several years, lithium batteries will age poorly over time, so more battery capacity from the jump makes the device hold up more.

I didn’t test it because of the fact that its primary intended use is for wireless charging. Added benefit that it has 30w wired charging. I’ll check though.

In my opinion wireless charging just causes too much heat no matter what charger you use...I just use the cable to charge my iPhone 15 and it doesn't get hot, charges very fast and is not really anymore inconvient than wireless charging...Qi2 or not for me thanks for the video it was very informative

@@wwjoshdew that’s pretty good, yeah in my testing it doesn’t get too hot. So the wireless power IQ is definitely doing its job here compared to other wireless charging standards and products. Definitely still gets warm, I think this is the best 10k magnetic battery at this point if we’re just talking in terms of size.

I like these wireless chargers for the magnet aspect and since the phone heats up more charging wirelessly, I like using a short cable to get faster charging with the convenience of having it magnetically stuck on the phone..This one seems cool because it has PPS so it'll do fast charging on my pixel 8 pro and I love that!! Being able to recharge at 30w is the cherry on top! 👌 I just might have have to get this one 😏 Great video, once again! 👍
