I had refused to pay $400 - $500 for noise-cancelling headphones so when I saw these, I purchased them for an upcoming trip. With me not knowing much about the technology behind noise-cancelling headphones, my fiance insisted on testing them. When they arrived, he pulled them right out of the box, put them on and spent the next 30 minutes testing them. When he was done, he passed his old headphones to me and said he was keeping mine. I laughed. He loved them and said he was going to purchase a pair for himself. He is an I/T person so if he loved them, I knew I had made a great choice.

I own a 3 Anker Soundcore BT speakers and all of them punch WAY above their price just like these headphones. One was the Motion Boom which is about $100 and sounded better than a $300 JBL once I did a few simple tweaks to the EQ just like with these Q45's. I ended up buying another one and pairing them together so for backyard hangouts, parties, etc I take both and they are amazing. The other one is a small one for $40 that sounded better than my Sony $80 BT speakers. Such amazing value from these Soundcore speakers/headphones.

Dear Max thanks a bunch for this very interesting, intuitive and HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL video. Last November, I‘ve bought the "Sennheiser Momentum 4" for 250.- Swiss Francs which equals to 275 $. Oh Boy, what a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT in my book. I have to say that I‘m SSD = Single Side Deaf, which doesn’t make the whole "Music listen Experience" easier. First the volume, doesn’t cut it, I‘ve expected more muffle of the noises around me. Every 15 minutes there was a connection dropout. Last but not least, the clamp pressure which basically isn’t there at all, so I‘ve had to be very careful not to move faster than Slow-Motion, if I didn’t want to lose them. You’ve asked about any "Soundcore Products": I‘ve got the Liberty 2 Pro‘s and the Liberty 3 Pro‘s earbuds, with whom I‘m very happy. My question about the "Space Q45" is: How about the volume??? Greetings from the Cheese & Chocolate Country Switzerland 🇨🇭

I'm glad they got rid of the touch transparency and the auto pause features the Q-35's had since these by my experience proved faulty and more problematic than useful, often times being turned on by accident. Changes that I don't like with these, however, include the app now restarting your headphones if you switch between LDAC mode and the connecting quality mode, and you can no longer be connected to two devices at once in LDAC mode. Also, these shockingly have significant sound bleed compared to the Q-35's. Additionally, I've not been able to get the play/pause button to work on these while watching Netflix on my smart TV. I haven't tried that yet with other sources. I do love the adaptive and customizable noise cancelling features, and the hearing protection option; those are smart. I'll have to do more testing, but I'm hoping the lesser amount of foam on the headband means less making a giant dent in my hair that can only be removed with lots of water.

I was hoping to upgrade from my life p3 earbuds. So I saw all the reviews praising the Q45. I got the white, which looks great and feels comfortable. BUT the sound quality was worse in comparison to my life p3. I thought it was Eq but I set to same Eq and I noticed much less clarity in the highs, less instrument separation, small soundstage. The bass was the only redeemable factor. It was loud and thumpy but very muddy and lacking precision in comparison to soundcore wireless earbuds. I have a pair of m50x for years and I was hoping to get at least good sound quality but the Q45 were just 'decent' or listenable. If I'm spending decent money on overear headphones, I want my money to be on something that sounds better than earbuds. So I ended up returning getting sennheiser momentum 4s for about 250. I'm writing this review because I feel like soundcore has a lot of marketing for these and I want to help other consumers not fall for the hype. Which I did.

@@scottywilloughby6219 Ok. I will try to explain.... I am not saying, that the TAH8506 are the best headphones in the world. I am saying, that for a 80€ you can't buy headphones with such a nice build and sound quality ! Q45 ? Ooookay 👍 but they are still double the price of that Philips. And another thing. When we are talking about hearing music and in general different sounds I am giving my personal opinion as a professional musician with more than 25 years of experience !!! With other words, you can trust me when I say,that TAH8506 are extremely good for their price.

@@batmanh8899 I am talking about 80€ BUT on sale my friend !!! The price is usually higher, but with a little bit of luck you can find them for around 80€ - discount price. Probably you are right, but I never said, that the regular price is 80€ ! Check out my first comment.

I hate to be "that guy" but based on my experience,,Anker headphones have a durability issue. The band cracks itself after a couple weeks and the earpards material wears off after a month. It's better to keept that in mind when buying these .yes, You get a good deal but you need to baby those headphones and have some spare earpads on the side.

When I went to buy myself a pair of headphones, I went to see what I is available at this local store at downtown Korea where I am just a few minutes stationed as I'm in the U.S. Army anyways thinking that I was probably going to spend heavy if I was going to want a great quality headset, to my surprise when I first try these on my God did they sounded great and still do. I've had them for a week now and I couldn't be more with myself for making a smart buy. These are my go to headphones wherever I go.

your reviews are top notch..well done....the soundcore Q45 are on sale here with black friday prices for 130 ( canadian ) 95 ( USD )would you get these over the sennheiser HD 450BT same price as the soundcore or the Edifier WH950NB for 179 ( canadian ) 130 ( USD ) ? All i want the headphones for is watching movies / utube / listening to music so sound is very important...i am not concerned with how good the noise cancellation is or the phone calls either....out of those 3 that i listed which would you recommend for my needs..... or is there one not listed which might work better ?....thx a bunch...cheers from Canada

It depends on what kind of sound profile you want, do you like bassy sound profile or more neutral? cus if its more bassy you would prefer Anker cus they are better in this area. But sennheisser they are better in more mid and neutral that preserve more true sound.

I've been using the Q30 for quite sometime now. The ANC works extremely well. I'll drop a bit of money for higher end earbuds (went with Bose QC Ultra), but for over the ear, the soundcore offer a terrific product for less than half the price. I love my Bose products, but the Q30 are probably getting replaced with the Q45.

Hey Max. Do the headphones retain the app settings "permanently"? That is, they don't have to be re-applied every time you use the headphones and do they stick when using with another device (like your computer?) without the app?
@MaxTechOfficial2 жыл бұрын
I'll see if I can find out. I love my soundcore boom and for that the changes do stick in the speaker itself which is really nice.

@@MaxTechOfficial Thank you! Yes, that's how some of my devices work. My Soundcore Liberty Air 2's though do not. They lose EQ settings if I put in the charger or turn them off, so each time I have to pair with my phone, apply my EQ, then unpair, then pair with my other device (like my Apple TV) to get the sound I want.

Great review.. have a pair of teugel anc headphones which I got in a dept store in Berlin whilst on holiday several years ago.. been very happy with them, at the time I tested them in store against Sennheiser and Bose options and they came out on top… but over time I found they’re a bit uncomfortable if worn for more than an hour, and noise cancelling isn’t great, although sound quality is pretty good. I recently sold them and been looking for an alternative, As an iPhone/iPad user drawn I’m towards the AirPods Max, but they are so expensive and I’m intrigued to see if a new version of the Max might come out in the next few months, so for me seeing these on sale in the UK for around £85, I think they will be ideal, not too expensive and then depending on what comes out from Apple in the next few months I can either give them on to someone in the family, or maybe even sell them- fingers crossed, but I think they’re going to be a great solution and maybe if I’m really happy with them I won’t even exchange them for a year or two!
