if the pain is in the internal region of the tibia, a medial tibial stress syndrome(shin splint) may be present. schedule a visit to a doctor/physiotherapist to clarify that

These clinical examination are for only physios,Osteos,Chiros,Sports therpist,Can not see A strength and conditioning coach or Sports Scientist doing these examinations unless they have a background in clinical education.
