Ankle Fusion

This really is the best information I’ve come across. And I’ve been actively looking for anything I can get my hands on. I’ve watched almost every video on ankle fusion as I’m having mine next week. I feel much less apprehensive now. Even though this looks as if it was filmed in the ‘70’s (when it’s actually 8 years ago), I feel the advice given is spot on. Thank you!

My ankle fusion surgery was only 7 weeks ago. My cast was removed 4 days ago and I am now in a supportive boot & use crutches. I must admit, right now, my ankle is very swollen & uncomfortable. I am severely restricted and am unable to drive. I cannot weight bare. HOWEVER, I know that after years of pain & restricted activities, I am on my way to a much better lifestyle. I just need patience, patience, patience. The post operative ladies in this short film are thankful & relieved of discomfort. That’s where I want to be in due course. This film has lifted my spirits.

I understand that you are scared about the surgery but I have had it on the 30th may this year 2022 I am still getting over it but I strongly recommend this surgery

2 weeks after my foot fusion operation and can say I experienced all the pain of your patients did and I am looking forward to my future. I am a hgv driver and there is a lot of manual work involved, just wondering if any one knows when I am likely to return to work , also if I went back to soon could I do more damage.

Sir please reply to me . ankle fution surgery after possible ankle replacement surgery am parent of ankle fution surgery am not possible walk and steps and now pain surgery was successful on 24-12-1994 so now am not moving forward painless.please reply your suggestions

Probably not. You can't run after your ankle is fused. My ankle is fused too.

@brother hood yes osteoarthritis and I do have pain but not from my fusion. My fusion is amazing
