used these on many gigs in the past, I had artists and musicians alike say it was the best in ear mix they had ever had listening through them

Yes! I would recommend it especially for the price. I've been using them a lot since this review video with bands both live and recording. The ones I have definitely have taken a beating and the only issues I've had are musicians losing battery covers and a button coming off after someone stomped on it.

I just purchased and I use it for a count in off my ipod. The only problem is when I stop the song, it makes a loud boom through the P.A. If it plays one song after another its ok.

Hmmm interesting. How is your iPod connected to the system?

@@TopmopProductions headphone jack 1/8 to 2 XLR,,, left to headphone, right to P.A.

@@slooky14 that sounds more like an issue with the cable or the way you are playing it back. Have you tried using any other device to play it back? Right now it seems like you'll need to try different combinations to identify the issue. I would try things like a different cable and a different playback device. ideally the playback device should go to the board first and then you just keep the click channel out of the house. and then send the click to your ears through an aux. But it definitely doesn't seem to be an issue with the Anleon S1 because the audio going to the sound system is not passing through the S1 at any point

@@TopmopProductions I appreciate your help. So before I was using a Art Tube Mp Studio. Cable used was 1/8 stereo jack to left and right 1/4 inch jacks,,,,,,1/8 stereo jack into ipod,,,1/4 out left,, into MpStudio. 1/4 out right to P.A. No problem of a loud boom at all. I thought I should have an extra device in case the mp Studio crapped out. I would hate to show up at a gig and something is not working. So could it be the xlr?

@@slooky14 Yeah the XLR connection might be the problem. When you went into the system with the 1/4" did it connect to a direct box to go into the system? That could be the reason it was working well because the direct box will adjust the signal
