I saw her twice in Andersen Air Force Base in Guam. The Bob Hope Show. She is a Patriot perform 18 times when USO ask her. My Father was in the military.

she had to marry roger smith because elvis married priscilla. she thought elvis was going to leave priscilla for her but she was wrong and elvis proved it by marrying his one true love CILLA!! also roger smith was a married man with his wife pregnant with their 3rd child. and left his family for AM she could not have children she was barren

Roger Smith broke up his own marriage in early/mid 1964 by having affairs with actresses Kathy Nolan & Jane Wald. He was NOT dating Ann-Margret at that time. And his ex-wife had her last child in 1961, three years before their separation. Roger & Ann-Margret started dating around October 1964. They waited until 1967 to marry. Ann-Margret was NOT pining over Elvis. She was madly in love with Roger. And, by the way, his ex-wife had remarried in early 1966 to an actor named Elliott Alexander. So Ann-Margret had nothing to do with the breakup of his marriage. Also, Ann-Margret & Roger got full custody of his three kids. Two of them became doctors. One of her stepsons died soon after Roger died in 2017. Ann-Margret & Roger were together a total of 53 years until his death.
