Yes. And in her biography that I own she mentions that they both knew they couldn't last because Elvis had or made an obligation. In her book she still does not dish any on Elvis. They truly cared for each other and understood one another. There were times after his marriage he wanted to be with her. I have often wondered about the timing of the days of Elvis marriage & Ann Margret's marriage because I'm sure you know Elvis married on May 1, 1967 & Ann Margret married May 8, 1967. I wonder if possible did she think maybe Elvis wouldn't go through with the obligation. We'll never know. But I believe Elvis didn't want a woman in the business. And Ann Margret did and still loves Roger-- May he R.I.P.

@@calisongbird Actually...Elvis wasn't "engaged" to Priscilla at the time Ann and Elvis dated. Priscilla lived at Graceland with the permission of her parents who were living in Germany at the time. Elvis offered to house her and provide a first rate education at a Catholic school in Memphis. Elvis didn't officially propose to Priscilla until five years later and then they got married very quickly in Las Vegas in 1967.

@Susan Elizabeth You have read Ann's autobiography and I haven't. If she wrote those words, then she knew what she was doing was wrong if Elvis had truly committed himself to only Priscilla. However, from what I understand, Elvis wasn't having a sexual relationship with Priscilla during this time. So it is possibly that Ann didn't feel in her mind that she was being the "other woman" since there wasn't an intimate claim to Elvis by Priscilla. Only Ann can answer that one...and Elvis was a known womanizer as well. So...as much as I love Elvis...he didn't exactly walk on water either in his relationship with either Ann or Priscilla. I wish I knew why people think 52 is old. It's not! She looks like a regular 52 year old slim woman aging gracefully. You don't really start looking undeniably "old" until your mid 60-70s, certainly into your 80s. But at 52 you're a comfortable middle age and normally still have elasticity in your skin. Speaking as a 45-year-old with lots of friends in their early 50s. :)
