I had a radical encounter with God about 23 years ago. I was in the hospital due to an abusive relationship and God's presence just enveloped me. As I was being wheeled to a room to have an MRI done on my head, looking like a monster because my face was all swelled and beat, I heard a couple of the nurses complaining about their day. The Holy Spirit was communicating with me that this disconnection with the present and lack of gratitude is what grieved Him about mankind. I could sense the grief it caused Him.

Wow, amazing! You each have such beautiful insights. I have a friend in India who has no bed, no windows, no AC, no carpet, no pavement, no grass, no phone, and limited food. Knowing him has helped me to see so many things I take for granted. There's so much we take for granted. I'm praying to be grateful for chronic pain, illness, insomnia, and depression.

This episode actually really hit me in my ❤️. I do this alot. 10 yrs since my Son's death has made my faith so much stronger. I have met 5 ladies who have went thru same things and we have connected with God and friendship

This is such good advice! I'm so glad I picked up my pen and began writing a gratitude/prayer journal years ago.. filled it and moved on to the next empty notebook to keep it going,l... and going... and going... lol I🎉am so glad I make time to do this daily! Generally add a Bible verse and a short study too!

Finally.....God confirms what He taught me to do and that is to thank Him FOR the trial/problem/bad thing that is in my life! Hallelujah!! His ways are not our ways.
