Just a reminder: Ann and the Amazing Dawgs did this performance without a sound check, using instruments they’d not played before (they weren’t theirs), after flying into Germany and pretty immediately going to the stage. All of that- and the band still played tight as ever and Ann sounded fantastic- at 72, no less!!

I don't know what video most of you were watching. But, it couldn't have been the one I just watched. I love Ann as much as anyone. However, she sounded like crap. She couldn't hit even the mid-range notes. She resorted to doing that talking thing that singers do when they know they can no longer sing their songs. Could it have been just an off day? Sure. I hope that it the case. The alternative means that she needs to exit the stage and just enjoy her life. We love you Ann. I'm sure you don't want to be "that" person. You know? The one who stays waaay longer than they should. Whelp, that's just my 2cents.
