Everything well said by Anna debeer. So disheartening and unfortunate for such a college career to end the way it did. Congrats Louisville for fighting. Excited to see what Anna does in the future, important for her to recognize her future career and inability to give it her all.

Luv the Cards. Anna is a monster talent gonna miss her playing. But she helped lay the foundation/legacy for the future of Louisville Volleyball. Way to keep it classy. I’m GBR but a huge volleyball fan luv Louisville keep your heads up that was an incredible run this year hats off. So looking forward to next year they showed the future in the Final. Miss Debeer already but the future looks bright. Anna- God does have a plan for you. Luv it. Go Cards.

Louisville losing Anna would be very similar to Penn State losing their star player. Switch that scenario and the outcome more likely would be completely different. Just a shame it was in the biggest game of her career. Gotta feel for her and her teammates. With that said, Penn State is a really great team and deserving of the win.

So proud of you guys but I think to be the best you got to beat the best and without you playing Louisville Women's Volleyball team were not the best not taking anything from Peterson but you were the heart of the team you and Scott playing in your home town would have been unstoppable Luper Creese PK Diaz Cabello Robbins Schrand. You guys really put volleyball on the map.

would’ve been such a different game if you were able to play!!! amazing season and just the start of a bright career

Penn State's secret weapon in this match was that their coach is seriously ill with a life-threatening cancer; whether they won or lost a volleyball match was really not a huge deal in the larger scheme of things. It probably helped them play loose and not panic when they went down 2-0 against Nebraska or lost that epic 2nd set to Louisville. Anna DeBeer is a great player and great leader but as you can see here, she lacked the larger perspective -- if you sprain your ankle and you can't play a match, that is really not a huge deal in the larger scheme of life. Louisville had a great season and they should be happy and proud and grateful.

Also didn’t help that their genius setter chose to not set the middle for like 2 whole sets
@hal11838Ай бұрын
If you are not getting a good pass it’s hard to set the middle . Anyone with a a knowledge of volleyball knows that
@locomojoboy2Ай бұрын
@ I’ve seen many setters set and score with their middles when they didn’t have the luxury to stand still and set a pass that came to them perfectly and instead have to move towards the ball. Anyone with knowledge of volleyball knows that. But then again there are many who have “knowledge of volleyball” who are going to pretend that all the sets where the setter could have but didn’t set the middle was because the pass was ugly and that a set to the middle would be impossible.

Looper and Maldonado had 21 and 20 kills, respectively. With DeBeer, Louisville would probably have 25 additional kills. However, they would still end up losing because nobody was able to stop Mruzik

I don’t know!!! Momentum is a mf. I feel with Debeer a lot of those long rallies would have gone the other way

God I can't stand Penn State. I wanted them out so bad. I'm not a fan of either team at all. But sorry Louisville couldn't nail them down. Sorry DeBeer's got out and couldn't play.
