This is what scares me. If she wants to believe his total and obvious BS, then that's her choice. But knowingly placing her children in harm's way (even while he's behind bars, she's showing them that she will never believe anyone over him) is unforgivable. They said in Josh's trial that Anna had refused to allow their children to be forensically interviewed, to check if he had harmed them. How on earth is that allowed? I live in the UK and here we don't get a choice - because it is very obvious that perpetrators will stop their victims from talking and getting help. If social services or the police want to check on the welfare of your child, then they will check on the welfare of your child. It's a disgrace that so many of us realise the danger those children are in, yet nobody with any authority is doing a single thing to help them. The Duggars aren't being persecuted by some ridiculous political vendetta - they're being protected by one.

Hi Katie Joy! I had a thought that you might be interested in when you said that Anna cannot believe that Josh is guilty as a pedophile or she would leave him. Are you familiar with the "Biblical Counseling" movement? It was largely started by Jay Adams and is, to this day, becoming bigger and bigger in fundamentalist circles. I myself became a certified biblical counselor through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC) years ago (I am not any longer). The main ideologies that are taught and "counseled" are very similar to many other sects (cults) in "Christianity" and the Duggars seem to fit this mold in many areas. I've experienced these teachings myself while under the "authority" of the pastors at my old church which was also a training center for ACBC. I was told to believe my husband basically no matter what he told me. Even if he was guilty of pedophilia (in my case, SAing my daughter), God is bigger than that, he can change him, and I need to forgive him (which equals full restoration to his place in the home). In this ideology (cult), oftentimes the law is seen as "worldly" and/or "evil". I thought of this during your video today, because if Anna has been brainwashed by these ideas, she doesn't have an out even if she believes Josh is guilty (not saying she does). Anyway, I've gone public with my story, which has a lot more to it, of course. I've seen, first hand, child abuse not reported (we are talking about a case in which the parents have over a dozen felony counts against them and are awaiting trial). I myself was told not to call the police even if "he hit me upside the head". I also know a woman personally who was told to stay with her husband who was actively SAing their children. ACBC is a good ole boys club and even when I filed a complaint regarding the way my pastors were handling abuse in the church, I was never even given the courtesy of a phone call; I was threatened instead.
