Anna Fedorova plays Scriabin, Chopin and De Falla - Empty Concertgebouw Sessions

Juist in deze tijd is muziek belangrijker dan ooit. Daarom zenden we elke woensdag om 12:30 een prachtig solo concert uit. Geniet op woensdag 8 april van pianiste Anna Fedorova. In de lege Grote Zaal van Het Concertgebouw speelt ze Scriabins Two Poems, Chopins Ballade No.2 en De Falla’s Ritual Dance of Fire for Piano.

Wat een prachtig initiatief weer, van het Concertgebouw. Heerlijk, dank! En ook zo leuk, dat ontwapenende stukje intro van Anna zelf aan het begin. Maar man, o man, wat mis ik de zaal... Want dit is fijn (en ik ben het CGB echt heel dankbaar), maar... nothing beats a live concert. Fingers crossed dus dat we heel gauw weer gewoon in persoon mogen komen luisteren!

I love the initiative and the amazing performance. One thing I am less happy about is the heavy dynamic compression on the program material. Maybe you can improve this in future video's?
