I really need some new adjectives in my vocabulary to describe your cards! When you started to peel the silver from the die, what a WOW! Just stunning! I wasn’t going to get that die because I have a stupid amount of door dies already. BUT they don’t make me say 😮 😯 😳. Lol Thanks for sharing.

Hi Vianney! I just subscribed to Finishing School and learned from Anna to get better embossing when cutting, to use the metal shim under the magnetic mat. Just thought I’d pass it on. Love your videos!

Yes, I know what she likes to do with her plates and dies...as you can see, I hardly ever use her system (although I have both Empress machines, and the extended plates for both, too!). I am not a fan of cutting into the magnetic mat, even when I do use those machines. For the Platinum 6, I use the rubber mat. Thanks!

Pretty card! I love the silver. I have been trying to resist this die as I have two CC gate dies, two HC gate dies, and I think I have a Tonic one also. I think I have only used one of them. But this one is soooo pretty. I'm trying to stay strong 😂😂😂.

Which do you like the best gazebo or gate die? I value your opinion. I bought me a block to put my AG stamps on and so glad for your tips. They are so pretty. I also used her die that came with a kit and picked up a couple of more from Hobby Lobby. They worked fine and another video I saw made it look complicated. You however made it look easy so: I bought the block and I think everything will work fine. Thanks for sharing. Pat in NC

I use the Anna Griffin magnetic mat on the reverse ( back) side so the roughness from use isn’t as bad. I have also noticed that The Anna Griffin website has begun selling large magnetic ( and the others, too) mats individually. Also…I finally received my HSN craft day orders in Toledo in a total of 11 days.

Those orders took their time! (: I know all the tricks with the magnetic mats, etc...it's just not my thing. I'm glad it works for you (in the past, if I ever did it...I always recommended cutting into the black side...keep the grid side looking nice/better integrity of the mat). I hardly ever use either Empress anymore. I'm thinking about destashing my electronic machines...gasp! LOL! We will see if that ever happens but they take up a lot of room. I have both Empress machines and CC Gemini & Jr...it's a lot. Have fun with your new goodies!

I passed on this one because I have a gate from CC that I haven't used but it is nothing like this. Now I'm having passers remorse. I only know one remedy for that...buy it!
