I didn't get this set when it came out, but I did get the snow globe easel card die set. I haven't used it yet, but I wonder if the dies from the two sets are interchangeable. Huh! Maybe we need to share our die sets! I really like the way you put your card together. The red paper looks so nice with the gold mirror cardstock. Santa and his sleigh would look cute on one of these cards. Thanks for sharing!!

This showed up in my feed a year late, yet happy to see it since I have the dies and for whatever reason got really frustrated with them and never made a single card using them. Clearly the fault of my lack of imagination and not the dies. I saved this so when it’s time for Christmas cards again, I’ll use your inspiration. SO glad you left the Santa off. When you asked, I kept saying NO, leave him off. 😆 Your reaction to the barking dog was funny. Barely noticeable on the video. But I have multiple dogs, so it’s just background noise to me. 😉

Hi, I have used small pieces of masking tape to hold my dies in place. Not to bad when your in a pinch. 👍❤️❤️

LOVED this one. I would have chosen a dark blue cardbase, so the glitter stood out more. And the Santa would be really cute on top, poking up over the top of the card so it only obscured the snow globe a tiny bit... though I know it would be an issue if you had to put the card in an envelope

Maybe you should throw the dog a treat-lol Love the die by Anna Griffin- every card I have watched her make so far has the bag of glitter or confetti already in it that her company makes. yes weirdly there is no sample sheet in my snowglobe either... and I just noticed the gingerbread house magnetic sheet has no holes to put it in a 3 ring binder.....making my own, also I got the xmas presents card die ,it has sample sheet,I got the holly card and NO sample sheet!!! I was hoping you bought that so I would know if mine was missing !!! lol

LOL! Oh, no! I have been eying the holly jacket card, but I had to draw the line somewhere. Ha! Some of the magnetic sheets have binder holes and some don't. She sells them that way, too. I don't know why, I would want holes in all of them. She has like a magazine holder for the ones without holes.

I really loved this tutorial!!!! I want to ask a question, for a person starting out with stamping, die cutting, card making ect. what colors for stamping to you recommend...basic colors. By the way...i ordered the diamond press just to start out with....i am going to work my way up to the gemini junior...hoping there will be a reasonable sale before christmas. The Diamond PRess is great, it's simple and easy. I contacted them after breaking my handle the other day and they are sending me a new one. So, they stand by their product!! I'm not sure what you mean by stamping colors? Like what basic colors are best?

Thank you! So, a black ink is a great starter...but if you want to use alcohol ink markers it has to be an "alcohol proof" ink, if you want to use watercolors or water based markers with them then it needs to be a waterproof ink. A basic ink would say "dye ink." I like to have a dark brown on hand, too. You can also just pick up a green for leaves and maybe some pretty flower colors. There really is no mixing ink colors...unless you're using them for blending but they really aren't used together to make a new color. I hope that makes sense.

You put the cloudy shim between the die and magnetic mat

Actually, CC says to put down your cutting plate, plastic shim, magnetic mat, die face up, paper, metal shim, cutting plate. However, anytime Sara is on she does any old sandwich as long as the thickness is there. If you follow their printed manual instructions...the magnetic mat gets destroyed...just like mine. Now I do whatever I want, basically try and keep the die away from the magnetic mat.

VianneyCreates , I just watched the HSN video and no instructions in sight. In addition, I read the reviews and nearly everyone commented on the lack of instructions. Yes, she usually does include them, indeed. I guess we’re on our own! (Which I’m not good at, lol).

She does go over a little bit of that, have you seen the video on HSN? Anyway, I really enjoy your videos because I’m an absolute beginner and I like the way you show all the elements of a project.😃

I have seen the clips from HSN, but as she already has everything cut and mostly assembled, it's hard to see what to do. I was just told you can email customerservice@annagriffin . com and they will send you a PDF of the instructions.

Looks like they weren't made, you can download it on HSN's site...but it really doesn't have instructions. Just the basic cutting sandwich info.

My package also didn’t come with instructions/idea sheet. Send an email to [e-mail] and they will send you a attachment with a pdf. This also occurred with the starburst die set.
