I participated in Create 6 last November and had a heck of a time following AG’s live instructions on this die because she was trying to walk us through the process and not everyone could keep. I know that was very challenging and very different from the live, face to face events of the past. I just watched and put the card together later. I did the same with your tutorial on the shutter card you created. You are always so conscientious in making tutorials to please your followers....

That's kind of why I mentioned her "demo" she was having quite a time with it! LOL! Not the best way to sell the thing...especially because it's not hard...she just kept folding it backward on the gatefold flaps and would confuse herself. This card is beautiful!!! I love Anna's color palette and the romantic and soft, happy feel to her designs! I just hate the expense on some of it. I bit the bullet though on a few things since HSN has 5 flex pay this weekend and I got the Autoship and that Roses are Red card making kit. I love roses and those colors are just 😍😍😍 lol!!! Oh, and the slimline compendium too! It'll all play well together 😊 Also, don't ever apologize for longer videos! I love them! I prefer having things shown and explained to me very well. Informed decisions are the best way to go about purchases for me and some of these things are basically investments. Craft Days are always major "investments" 😂😂😂 so it's nice knowing going in that I won't be likely to return something after I get it home. And I love watching you color so don't ever apologize for that! I've learned so much from you! Thank you! ❤

I do not see a need it right now. I don't use my regular size Gemini that much either. If you want them, you have to buy them now separately and they sold out LAST WEEK. They didn't even make it to the showing. Yeesh.

Gorgeous card. I think they give you the extra space on the belly band because Anna's cards are normally very ornate. So if you're one of those that add a lot of dimensional embellishments, you'd need the extra width to fit over everything? Just my thoughts. ☺️

Gorgeous card! The decorations at the end changed it from pretty to gorgeous. I too have been buying AG items for a long time now, but it wasn't until the last few years that I've been able to use things freely😄 Thanks for sharing so many tips and tricks, I've used several of them. My favs are the glue on the back of the hand and using regular die cutting plates to cut something that needs the larger plates (which I have, but dont always want to use if I'm just making a single item😁)

I love your videos and am so jealous of all your stuff! This craft is so addictive. Intricate dies - if you stack 4 unscented dryer sheets, fold in half and take your die full of paper pieces, place on stack and run it through Gemini as if you were cutting it out, all pieces will stick to dryer sheet. Don’t know if this will work with Diamond Press but it works on Big Shot. I think Karen Burniston (sp?) has a video in this.

Thank you for your tutorial video on the AG shutter dies. I have already ordered AG Pop-out dies AS. I want the Gemini Pro, but Sara said it is 27.5 lbs & it is a machine that is not portable. I can imagine that the shipping costs for this machine will be outrageous, so I will wait until Sara presents it on Crafterscompanion website with free shipping since the machine will be close to $300. I have already ordered the Gemini Pro 12" x 18" cutting plates since I received a $20 off $100 coupon from HSN.

I am NOT going to buy another Gemini, lol. I barely use the regular Gemini I have now. I use the Marquis and my Big Shot mostly. The Gemini is used only when I’m using a die that won’t fit through anything other machine. I don’t know the price of the new Gemini but the plates are on HSN and $$$. I’m going to miss the magnetic storage, especially for these type of die sets that have multiple pieces. I always look for your tutorials ... you always break it down to instructions we can actually follow...lol. I can’t find Anna’s gold paper anywhere! 🤔Thanks for sharing! Gorgeous card!

I feel her line is a bit pricey to begin with and I compensated my purchases with " well it's nice packages and I do like the magnetic file. Beautiful! I already ordered the AG pop-out dies autoship as that was a for sure when Anna previewed and of course I had to order the DP Pawsome set as soon as you reviewed it. I want the other two DP sets that you reviewed, but am going to have to pass...just the idea of spending so much on shipping is a turnoff for me. The Anna Griffin shutter dies I am hoping will eventually show up on her site like the criss cross dies have and if you spend $50, shipping is free, so I can wait and just bookmarked this video for that time. IMHO, as far as the Gemini Pro, makes total sense to me. Just enlarge the successful Gemini and target another demographic. As you know there are a lot of folks NOT into Cricut and using Design Space and the need for a computer. With the Pro, you can layout all your dies and papers on the big plate and except for things you need duplicates of, cut everything out in one pass without having to make the adjustments in Design Space to get all the bits to fit on one mat. As far as if you are making cards with smaller dies, you know if someone can afford the Pro, they also have a smaller format die cutter(s) whether it is the junior or the mini or DP. If I were doing makes to sell, I would likely add to my arsenal, but I am not so I will sit back and watch. I am perfectly comfortable using the Cricut Maker, and have the original Gemini, Marquis and my Cuttlebug which you would have to rip out of my cold dead hands...yep old school Cuttlebug. LOL!

I'll be curious to see how well the Gemini "Pro" does. I can see the reasons you outline will be why it might do well...but if you are just looking to cut layout pieces...the regular Gemini or Empress can do that. Unless she sells huge dies that will mat a 12x12 scrapbook page...which is probably a nightmare to create (may be too flimsy like other large dies we might have, how to store them easily)...I'll stick to my Cricut. Especially at $400+ and the plates are $120? Wow. I despise Design Space but luckily I have older Cricuts that don't have to run on it! LOL!!

And then you have some folks that have the funds and are into all the new toys just like the techies. LOL! Yea, I see the extra 12" x 18" Pro plate bundle on HSN for $120. Too rich for my blood, unless I were doing volume cutting as a business and could justify. Of course if I stopped my $35 a month Hero Arts subscription, I could buy the Pro, but nah...Anyway, Tuesday will be interesting. So I know this is controversial or it seems to be, but the magnetic sheets actually made shipping charges higher because of the weight. If you notice the shipping charges on AG dies have been brought down. Just a little fyi and mho.

That makes a lot of sense. They are suuuuper heavy especially when you have a few bundled together. I did see that most of her items are $3.50 shipping...were they $5.50 most of the time before? I feel like I remember them being at the $3.50 level before, too...I'll look through my old orders! LOL!! TYSM!

The way Anna puts layers and layers in 3-D flowers and all she would need that really thick belly band. Sometimes she puts on so many layers you just don’t see very many of them.

So true, but even Anna said to cut off the extra tabs on the second strip. She said "the instructions are all wrong here" during her demo. I imagine if the card is that thick and layered up...a belly band would be a nightmare to slip on and off easily. LOL!!

I have trouble with HSN autoship. This is the 3rd. time I have not receied the first autoship. Twice when I called about i, I was told it was sold out and there was nothing they can do. I will never fall for it again.

That is so weird. I know they have been behind or not getting their stock in on time for the autoships (not always, but sometimes)...but if you're signed up...it's supposed to be pretty much guaranteed. I'm sorry to hear that.

Really is a beautiful card. The belly band is probably huge because Anna would be putting a crap ton of ephemera on the front and it would need to be thick to go ever everything.

Anna probably didn't create it lol. She's probably like most people that I know that have their company for along time. Over time they get farther and farther way from what is really going on. Just my opinion of executives i have dealt with in the past and most stuff they say is wrong. . They walked through the plant every year or two with their entourage. Just walking, talking and pointing. But never stopping and looking. Off topic, sorry. But that is why we need you so much. Pretty card. Take care, Debi

I think I'll pass on this set. Your instructions are great and the card is beautiful. New machine don't need one. Don't use a lot of them I have and the Marquis is by far my most go to machine. Gemini junior is next.

Right? I use the Marquise probably 98% of the time. Then the Gemini Junior if I need a bit bigger, and seldomly the Empress for larger jobs. TYSM!
